Every time I'm leaving a store or something and I see someone smoking, I drag off my pv and see if I can get interest. It works sometimes, and other times it doesn't. Alot of people come to me and ask me what it is, and I tell them all about it, and the fact that there's so much that you can do with PV's.

Makes me feel awesome when someone ask me to meet them at the vape shop and help them get set up.

I feel like doing that upon occasion, but don't do it for some reason. However, if I run up on you in the Walmart, on the petfood aisle buying cheap, dry kibble for your cat, I will absolutely tell you why that's a bad thing to feed your cat. Is the first listed ingrediant ground corn? Baaaaad for your kitty. Terrible, as a matter of fact. Cats are obligate carnivores - they need MEAT, not grain. They need wet food since they don't drink a lot of water. Dry food, high in grain content is a recipe for bad health.

That is probably the most productive way of introducing vaping and generating some questions from onlooking smokers.

My girlfriend says I'm preachy about vaping lol. So I just let people ask me, not afraid to vape in public. Now if only my college campus would exclude vaping from their "Tobacco Free" policies... Why is eLiquid considered a tobacoo product anyways?

PS: If I catch people buying their dogs purina, nutro natural, etc.... I freak too. Nulo all the wayyyy!

I was walking out of the supermarket the other day and sure enough a guy, young guy, was there smoking by his car. I actually thought about talking to him about vaping, but somehow couldn't do it. I didn't even feel like pulling out my ecig and vaping it so he could see. I think I didn't want to invade his space no matter what. But yes, just as the OP queried, I have thought about it on several occasions.

I actually got quite the education about this after taking my ex-husbands cat from him, because it developed diabetes and he couldn't deal with the twice a day shots. After changing up the cats diet, we are close to getting him insulin free!! Anyone you explain this to should be very thankful, since it will save a kitty's life! :)

I do want to but I don't. I remember what it felt like when people used to come up to me & tell me about my smoking & I don't want to come off as a hypocrite. I am happy to talk about it if someone approaches me. I have friends who I've offered to let try my gear if they wanted but I never pushed. Eventually they both came & asked me to try some. One used blu to get completely off of the cigs. The other is now a vaper!

I wouldn't go up to people, either. Too much like the ANTZ people coming up to me and lecturing me about stinkies. All it did was cause resentment. If someone asks, I will gladly tell them! If they are in my social circle, I offer to let them try a puff. With the Blu (and other) commercials out there, a LOT of people are curious, even if it doesn't look like a cigalike, people still know it is an "e-cig." Surprisingly (to me) a LOT of older smokers are VERY interested.

I have sent people (including a tobacco shop owner) to this forum so they can read all about it!
