Ever make a flavor you're afraid of?

Tonight I made a super strong mint flavor. For the record, I've made a lot of mint flavors. Mint is my favorite and the recipe that I made is good. This new one is a spearmint/peppermint e liquid on steroids. To be honest I am excited & kind of afraid to try it. Anyone else here make a flavor that had you nervous to try?

Be careful, I sort of did the same thing with coconut because I really like the flavor, one of my ADV's at the time used 1.5% Coconut Extra and I loved it...bumped it to 3% and it got even better so I decided to go big, 10%. Mistake, wow. Anything with coconut now makes me kind of anxious/afraid, ever since my Coconut Extra incident where I decided to mix it at 10% to see what would happen.. Worst taste ever, really tasted like I was vaping cleaning chemicals, even just recalling it sent a signal to the pit of my stomach. Haven't made a mix with Coconut since if I'm honest.

To be honest, any new recipe I make makes me very nervous to try; I've had a couple of successes, and a WHOLE LOT of utter failures. And some of them were NASTY.

I'm never afraid to try something I mixed. If it's bad I fix it if it's not fixable I let the drain enjoy it.

Oh yeah. I make a banana nut bread juice for a good friend. He loves it. I can barely stand to make it. I hate banana flavor with a passion that can ignite a cold star.

And Kona coffee. Don't like coffee either and kona is way out man. My sister loves the stuff. Crazy, but she blames growing up with me for her crazy.

I accidentally made a juice that opened the portal to hell, that was quite worrying...

it was a lavender flavoured juice, first vape was delicious, then after that it was like a potpourri pixie had defecated in my mouth. It caused headaches and nausea (despite low nic) and I have since vowed to never attempt to make a lavender juice again.

Key lime, strawberry, vanilla custard, absinthe.... Not sure how the custard and absinthe will play together....

just made my first ejuice tastes like chemicals :/ allowing it to breath and will try a single day steep and see how it goes but now I'm hesitant to even try mixing my other 2 flavors I bought

I found a use for the nasty diy ones that smell good. I put it in the oil warmer, doesn't last long but helps the room smell better for a short while. Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm not pouring money down the drain that way.

Mine doesn't vape. The only test to which I subject him is "Can you stand to be near it, or do I need to vape it after you go to bed?"

There's only a couple that my husband has objected to. One thing that he objects to violently is when the coil gets extremely gunked with my strawberry & cream and turns the juice brown; he says it smells like "burnt crap" (except he uses the S word!). But if we're on the long drive (45 mins) back from my parents, I tell him to shut up and deal with it, because there's nothing I can do about it at that point. He doesn't have a very keen sense of smell, fortunately, but it's funny; now that he's no longer regularly subject to second-hand smoke, his sense of smell has improved as much as mine has from FIRST-hand smoke!

I recently bought a small bottle of TFA Caramel Cappuccino, even though I don't drink coffee. I wanted to try it out. Put 2 drops in 10 ml with Sweet Cream and some sweetener. Tried it out, it's fine and it definitely tastes like coffee.

The problem is the room smelled strongly like coffee for a long time, and I couldn't use the RDA I tested it in (Tugboat clone) for anything else until I changed the wick and coil, and washed it thoroughly. When I went back to my ADV in my RTA that never touched it, I swear I could still taste coffee. I drank a soda, still tasted some coffee. It was like eating something with a lot of garlic, it keeps on giving long after you have finished eating.

Not a bad juice, but way more trouble than I am willing to put up with for it. I'm guessing it will steep for a few weeks until I try it again.

Nuts...tried pecan once...nope....since that, I avoid most except for peanut butter...very hesitant even though some I'm sure add that wow factor to certain blends

Savory flavors don't appeal to me, not afraid of, just...not my thing(pizza, chicken and waffles, dill pickle...etc)
