Ever used the cap that comes on a new 306 atty for a drip tip? It works.

An hour into my workday, my atty began acting plugged up. I hadn't cleaned it for a couple weeks, so I thought I'd change it. I keep a new one in my lunch box. I typically remove a 306 atty by turning the drip tip counter-clockwise until the atty is loosened and then pull off the drip tip. This drip tip didn't want to budge and when I reefed on it a bit, the atty came apart. The coil mechanism was still in the atty connector but the the shell of the 306 was lodged in the drip tip. Bummer! The coil part was already loose, so it came out easily, but the shell of the atty was stuck hard in the drip tip. I didn't have time to fool around with it and I figured that the cap that comes on a 306 atty has the same characteristics as a drip tip, so I spun it on and went back to work. It got me through the day. I don't have the time or free hands to vape too avidly at work anyway, so melting the soft plastic off was hopefully not an issue. Not sure what kind of compounds I may have inhaled today but if my following posts are less than comprehensible, I have an excuse this time.:)

You go Roger! I have used them and the 510's also. I did find that I get more juice in my mouth using those. For my style of vaping the regular tips work much better. But in a pinch, hell yeah use the plastic!

I remove my drip tips or plastic atty covers the same way and i also had one come apart. I was able to press it back together though. I once melted a delrin 306 drip tip by pocket firing without my knowledge. I was at work and so i found a piece of rubber tubing and used it as a makeshift drip tip for the rest of the work day. Whatever gets us through..... :)
