510 connector
Tekkeon mod WITH the EverCool circuit variable voltage 3.1v - 5.5v adjustable on Twin 18650 battery's, (adj screw is on bottom right next to flashlight led) AND everything works on it.. it can charge cell phones/mp3 players... usb charging of internal 18650 battery's flashlight works. It has no master switch on the vaping circuit just a fire switch, so if you don't charge it at night unscrew the atty/carto. Comes with lanyard, accessories/adapters for charging peripheries (cellphones mp3). Will ship set@4.3v. If this sells fast I will build more and put them up for sale. $80 + $5 insured shipping w track, I've been asked to make it with the connector at/instead of the flashlight led so I will, I just don't have any pictures of this yet... Should I call that 'v2"?

Paypal: givesuhe11@yahoo.com Note: This is my paypal ID to pay through paypal, if you want to contact me PM me here, on ECF... Thanks

I've sold a couple and just to let the interested know, I've switched the atty connector to where the flashlight is and added a master switch... You can order it with or without an indicator led, next to the atty connector. And with the atty connector on the other end the adj pot screw is on the opposite end between the usb ports. I'll post pics monday.

Spend some of that Christmas money and re-commit a new years resolution to quit, stay quit, smoking analogs!

I'm also going to be offering a Evercool circuit, the "Guts" all wired and boarded and ready to go, with all wiring labeled so you can put it in any box you have... all the DIY'er will need to do is solder the wires to your atty connector and switch and batts... Viola! You can make your own Evercool Box. I'll be offering it for about $40.

I think I want one with the atty at the LED end. Just a few newbie questions sorry:

It's a 510 connector, so some of the 510 "clearomizers" I've been looking at will work I assume. Will 306's fit as well? I just bought some other mod that costs twice as much as this and bought 5 "top of the line" 306 atties, then 4 of the 5 atties didn't fit right (too big to screw on completely), so I'm worried about that.

I have a couple silver Ultrafire LC 18650's (2400 mAh - 3.7V)... that is what this needs right?

How do I know what voltage it is at? Just guesstimate on how far the screw is turned from the max and min spots it stops? What way is low or high?

Can I charge the batteries while they are inside or use as a passthrough with a mini-USB plug, or do I need to remove them and use a charger?

The custom carto looks cool but how long might I expect it to last? I've never used these CE2 cartos but is that the same wick inside to replace it?

You assume correctly

Will 306's fit as well? I just bought some other mod that costs twice as much as this and bought 5 "top of the line" 306 atties, then 4 of the 5 atties didn't fit right (too big to screw on completely), so I'm worried about that.

I'm sorry, I do not know... I don't have any 306's so I don't know. Maybe someone that has some can chime in if they fit a 510, I assume you asked about that before you bought the expensive mod and if they told you 306 would fit their mod, they assumed something they didn't know. I would not tell you something I wasn't sure of. That said, I hope this doesn't deter you from my mod... if it helps, I will find out if there is a 306 to 510 adapter for you and I will go the distance and order you one IF you buy my mod and I will include it when I ship you my mod... no charge! (but you may have to wait a day or two IF it comes to that while I wait for the adapter to be delivered to me)

I have a couple silver Ultrafire LC 18650's (2400 mAh - 3.7V)... that is what this needs right?

This is the Tekkeon unit with the EverCool circuit built in. The Tekkeon has the batteries inside already... two 18650's. You don't need any batteries... they last to over 500 charges. IF you charge them everyday, which you don't need to, they last at least 2-3 days on even my heavy vaping, (4-6+ ml a day), even if you charged them everyday it would take over 500 days to run them down... this will last well over a year if not longer...

How do I know what voltage it is at? Just guesstimate on how far the screw is turned from the max and min spots it stops? What way is low or high?

Ahhh... here might be the rub... you need a volt or multimeter... or you can buy an RC battery pack voltage checker, similar to the one BigBlue30 shows here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/115651-5-50-voltmeter-load-checker.html ... Now, I will sell you one in a smaller case than he has. You need a volt reader/meter to adjust the voltage to your taste with the adjusting screw shown in the picture in the first post of this thread. counter-clockwise is higher voltage clockwise is lower voltage. I will PM you my phone# if you would like to discuss further.

Can I charge the batteries while they are inside or use as a passthrough with a mini-USB plug, or do I need to remove them and use a charger?

Yes and.................. Yes... you can do both... charge and use as passthrough. You cannot take out the batteries... well you can but you might break the box. If you see the last picture with the accessories you use one of the adapters with your computer usb or a wall plug usb to charge and you can also vape with it plugged in... in FACT ITS A TRUE 5 VOLT VAPE ON USB because you vape off the batts and the EverCool circuit while its charging... and since I wire it as two separate circuits its TRUE 5 volt (or whatever volts you have it set to) whenever its plugged into any USB.

The custom carto looks cool but how long might I expect it to last? I've never used these CE2 cartos but is that the same wick inside to replace it?

I have ce2 cartos that have lasted me up to 2 months. but I clean them and rotate them continuously. Yes, it is the guts of a ce2 v4 cartomizer in what is called a syringe mod. I don't expect the clearomizer(s) to last any less than the current ce2 v4's because they are ce2 v4 clearomizers... lol...

Again, Call me for any more specific than that.

edit: doh we posted the same time and I am being summoned to play cards... will check out your post in a little bit

Alright, I saw some videos of other Tekkeon mods so I guess I'm in for one. The threading for 306 isn't a big deal, just going to take my chances on that. I take it that you can't really open these cases so included is the 2 batteries and you charge by mini-USB.

Still wondering about how the carto works, can I buy more from you, how to replace, etc.

The back side with switch on the videos I saw had 6 of those gray circles as part of the case. The firing switch is the tiny button near the arrow? Can it rest on that side without firing?

What does the indicator mean? In the video I saw, the guy said the led changes green>>orange>>red as the battery drops below 70>>30%

I'd want that and a master switch if possible.

The indicator is on the charging/battery circuit... yes, it changes color as the batts inside drain... yes, there will be a master switch. No, the switch doesn't fire when on its side...

extra carto's (up to 2) cost $10 each... I may gear up to make more if the demand gets up... but for now... what I said... lol
