As someone who has gotten Lyme Disease I'm all for that one. It should be taken very seriously.

I called the baby's Ped. and they just told me to watch him for rashes, fevers or weird behavior like not eating but what I read said that onlt 60% of people get the rash.... quite worried - sorry guys for taking it off topic

My little one had a tick in her head last summer! That was a freak out for her, definitely (she was four). No rash, no worries. Keep an eye on him but don't worry; he'll most likely be fine.

No problem feather, I'm sorry for playing it up. It is a very scary thing, especially with kids. I have four grandchildren and live in the woods.

feather,

I seem to remember reading that as long as you remove the tick within 24 hours, there's almost never anything to worry about--that the ticks that cause Lyme disease don't begin to feed until 24 hours have passed.

My son, now 13, is a tick magnet, even with repellant. We always do a thorough check after fishing trips, etc., and I've removed lots of the nasty little things. He's always been fine.

I know it's impossible not to worry, though.

Awwww crap. That isn't going to calm me down, it'll just IRRITATE the crud out of me (hubby with the remote, swapping channels with 2 games on).

Edit to Cash's relief: A couple of glasses of WINE, A HAMMER  TO THE REMOTE CONTROL and a nice long vape session... AWWWWWW THAT IS RELIEF!!

(now I feel itchy cuz of all the tick talk...)

A few 'bad apples' claimed that e-cigs were the magic bullet to smoking cessation, thereby opening the door to FDA intervention.

Actually, on your thought, I think the statements got the FDA to thinking, "how can we make our money from this?" If e-cigs were already taxed, or already exempt from tax, the FDA would be non existent in this issue.

The official word from Blind Mike....

Elvis isn't dead, he's vaping in a bar in Shaboygin.

Elvis can't get enough of the beer and brats - but we're going to have him sing at the Cheesehead Vape-in next week!

@Wildsky - thanks for clearing up what that noise was - I could hear your guinies all the way over here!

the uk gov claims they spend more on health care for smoking related diseases than they earn from cig tax so if they decide to 80% tag e cigs they are absolutely diabolical and the most hypocritical f00kers ever

they surely will not get away with it

you know what.. they get away with what we, the people, allow them to.. it is a shame we do not all get together and make things happen like maybe we should
