What is your idea of a perfect first date?

For me it would be something simple. As I don't drink often the bar is out. When at dinner your stuffing your face. Movies are no place to be talking.

Meeting for coffee(which I don't drink but can manage to choke down if need be) or a walk through a park or even just down the street. This allows me talk to the other person. Allows us to get to know something about each other. With little to no financial investment from either party. So if there's no click that leads to a second date there is little to nothing lost except some time.

So what's yours?

Coffee, I cook for a living and need regular oral consumption of caffeine and nicotine. Usually I like to leave anything else fairly open ended. If it's going well we can continue on to do something else or easily make future, if not it's over soon and not too much of a loss.
