Sorry to hear you are getting frustrated Jen. I have wanted to through my hands up a few times myself, but I knew if I did I would start smoking anologs again. Between my Provari and my Reo Grand I think I'm starting to settle into it a little more. Have you tried LR atties on your mini? I like a warmer vape so that's all I use on my Grand. Only bad experience that I've had with them is the $22.00 HH357 atty that blew on the third day. I've heard good things on the joye LR 510's.

If you do decide to stop vaping, you will be missed on the forums. Just don't go back to smoking as I feel a little hassle is still better than anologs. Good luck to ya either way and "May a ray of sunshine shine down on ya" ;)

I've got my Reo Mini with Hype with me now. I don't even know if I want to tell Rob (maker of the Reos & friend) about my little "break down" here today.

Thank you for the suggestions to STOP CHASING the latest & greatest. I'm almost sure that will solve most of my problems. Ya know my husband is a mechanic & comes home from work & tells me about such & such NEW car that has such & such problem & he is getting ALOT of them into his shop................so I guess it is a "mechanics" thing. I'm just gonna stop, & be satisfied with what I have.

On the other hand, if I have anything that you need, ya'll always know that you can pm me & i'll send it to you (just as long as it's not a Reo, or a Buzz). I've even been known to send Ave juice on occasion.

The people here on ECF are a good group. Even the Houston Vape scene rocks, excellent group of people!

Thanks for the inspiring comments, suggestions, & afterthoughts. Ya'll could never know how much I appreciate it right now.

Mark,
I guess I need to quit trying new stuff.........just stick with my reo mini & be happy with a standard resistance atty & drip tip with some AVE juice:)

The Infinity..........I have one of the originals, non blemished, it's gorgeous, love it! Like I said though, it's one of the originals, so the top cap isn't tight. Every time I try to unscrew an atty/tank/carto the top cap wants to turn with it. I don't know if you've ever opened yours up before, but the positive connection wire is super short! So.........it's come unsoldered multiple times. It's to the point that my husband automatically knows what to do when I hand him the infinity. (solder the positive connection back on, with a nice strong solder joint). ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

love my original buzz, & buzz pro, & my Reos & my Ave juice.........Oh, & I love Adrena..........but that's about all i'm loving about vaping at this moment. lol

Sounds like you have many blessings:) Sometimes we tend to focus on the negatives when we have soooo many positives going for us  Count them, I have to remind myself of this as well:wub:

yeah, it's sooooooooooooo unpretty to have blueberry cheesecake juice all over your $60 baby pink victoria's secret pajamas.

Your wife needs some of their new tank tops!!! They have the built in miraculous bra!!

Although against the rules some e-liquid xanax, ativan, valium or demerol would certainly be nice at times!!!!! I wonder if we could get that shipped from China???? Hang in there Jen and remeber Victoria's Secret makes new PJ's everyday. I know it is one thing on my shopping list everyear for my wife at holiday time. Now if I could just get her out of those once in awhile and into some of the more racier stuff from VS all would be good. After 28 years though I guess I will just settle for the fact that the PJ's are from VS :)

Sorry to hear of your plight. The only thing I can say is keep it simple. I haven't been at it as long as you, but I knew vaping won't be as easy as a pack and a Scripto lighter. The frustration had driven me back to analogs once...or twice. But now, I got a routine, a few batts, some attys, carts and juice. Yes, CARTS! Cartos would do too if they were cheaper.

I didn't feel comfortable enough to do PIF or juice swapping. Especially juice, almost all nice folks here, but I just don't like bottles that have been opened. Again, I'm keeping it simple. Hang in there.

Jen, you're totally one of my favorites, you know that, right? (((Jen))) Take a deep breath darlin'.

My thoughts...

Vaping: Me too! Grrrrr! However...found a feeder I love and two juices I love and I'm done. Be done babe. At least with the mods. Try a new juice, atty/carto or tank once in while, not every new one that's made, but settle in with a couple of mods that you already have that truly work and just be done with that part of it. Love the mods that are working GREAT for you, and let the rest go. If it ain't broke, don't try fixing it with a new mod! :p I'm thinking now, well, I smoked one brand of smokes for like FOREVER, why do I need 50 juice flavors. I don't. I'm happy rotating two and trying a new one every once in a while...works well, it's comfortable and reliable. But you know, if you can quit smoking AND quit vaping, I'll sure be happy for you. It's quite an accomplishment and if you can do it, congratulations!! :)

PIF: The group is huge now. A bad apple will get in every so often, it's sad, but it happens and we get them out as soon as we can. I can't tell you how many times I've been screwed over, but the fact remains that the core group there is truly some of the finest folks I've had the pleasure to know (including you!) and I will stand by them and for them as long as the group is alive. I've been discouraged for sure...but not defeated. I'm truly sorry you've had bad experiences there. :(

(((Jen)))

From a random new dood on the forum here, sorry to here about your issues-
It might be fates way of asking you to move on, who knows-
as long as you don't go back to smokes, that the most important part.
Go to Vegas, regardless, its always fun there-and it might change your mindset-
don't know what PIF is, sorry to hear you got screwed over.

I felt the same way my first couple weeks of vaping. That was just 2 months ago or so. There was a problem with EVERYTHING i got. I later learned that 901 cartomizers are about as useless as a gas station e cig. The cartos last about a day each and need to be refilled every 30 mins. So I got an 901 to 808 adapter from Madvapes, didn't work. Finally gave up and bought a 510 kit that came with cartomizers...the cartos didn't thread on. Two 50mls of juice I bought turned nasty in three days. They were Dekang bottles and I asked around what the deal was and by the description of what I got I was told that I got bogus liquid...not genuine Dekang or something. Magical flavor losing liquid. Just thought while people were venting I'd join the party. Happy with my Ego now. Of course when I finally get a setup I love I get to enjoy it for 3 days then my first "dead tastebuds" phase hits...sigh...

Jen, Ive seen so many of your PIF offers and the general good vibe you bring to the forums. It's helped me keep positive when I've been burned by a vendor or been shorted in a trade. I hope you get past this soon - maybe putting 95% of your stuff away for a few days and using a basic setup and a couple juices will help. What to get rid of will show itself up by what you long for most.

By the way, I'm thinking that if my wife spilled blueberry cheesecake juice (and I like blueberry cheesecake) all over a Victoria's Secret pj, I'd try to help her find a way to turn this problem into an opportunity. Just sayin'

Hey Jen,
I hear and feel your pain, I can't stand the good money I have poured into new and improved stuff that doesn't live up to the test. But after awhile I found my mod that works, juice vendor that is great. They are my go to items. When new stuff comes out I don't rush and order right away, I wait and see if the feedback is good first, usually by then either I move on to something else. Sometimes I will order something new and if it works out great, if not then back to my go to stuff.
Sit back and enjoy what you have.

( getting off my soap box and offering a valium :)

I feel your pain here a bit. Had a similar experience just recently where my ever faithful and trust worthy 5ml array tank mod decided to empty itself quite without warning whilst in the cinema all over my hoodie. Leaving me and my clothes smelling of caramel like Ry4 all evening and with little to vape afterwards. I wouldn't have minded so much but the array tank upto until this point had been my goto never fail device, but it let me down!

I also really, really like Ce2 XL's, for me they produce better flavour and vapour then any dual coil or single coil cartomizer you care to name and I don't need to constantly top them off either.. But there's problems with them. Sometimes they give off such a terrible burnt taste it makes me cough my guts up. Sometimes the cracked plastic is so bad I can goto what I thought was a full one and find it totally empty.

I've had giantomizers leak stupid amounts of liquid all through the window and down into my batteries.

I've had a riva battery die in less then 24hrs. Intelicig mini kits DOA and atomisers die in hours. Blu PCC's melt entire carts allover the battery and my pocket for no reason at all. I've had a revolution v.2 leak all of my juice bottle over the PV and my pocket whilst in a super Market doing shopping.

Despite all of this, and all that's yet to come, I'll never go back to analogues. It's frustrating, it's bloody rage inducing when all you want us a nice vape on your fave juice on your fave PV and it's failed for yet another reason, but when it works, and it's flawless, when it's just you, in the evening and your PV, your fave juice and maybe a good track or two on in the evening with a cold beer /whisky over ice there's not an analogue in the world that can beat it. Keep going, your having a bad time right now, but stick your best high nic juice in one of those REO's of yours, you'll feel better.
