Just got my AGA-T2 today and I freaking love it!
I wish I had a spool of 28-30ga kanthal though instead of this crazy thin what looks like 38ga ni-chrome.
I'm pounding a 1.5ohm 2 wrap coil at 4.2 volts. I can run it for 30+ seconds at 5volts with no hot spots and no dry wick(holding it vertical with no tilt at all).
This was my first experience with ss and wrapping my own coil. My first coil popped next to the positive post bc I inadvertently pushed the wick down to the bottom of the tank while wrapping and forgot to check it afterwards.
The draw is a little airy for my taste but it works beautifully. It took me a while to work out the hotspots I was getting(1 at the neg post and 1 at pos post). I'm super stoked about getting my wick rolled perfectly the 1st try so I don't have to tilt to get it to saturate properly. I did chain vape it to near dry at one point but took a couple dry pulls on it while looking in the mirror and could see them pull juice up the wick.
I've got it sitting on an eVic and it looks pretty hot if I do say so myself.
I'm gonna stick with this 2 wrap for a couple days to break the wick in all the way then recoil it using 4 or 5 wraps for closer to 3 ohms just so there's more surface area. My Novas are producing more vapor at the moment and i can't have that lol.
Once I get a couple more of these I'll probably never vape from silica ever again.

I torched and quenched my wick 4 times then soaked with juice and burned it off 4 times for my oxidation process. Haven't had a single burnt hit yet. I'm sold on RBA's. Also the flavor of my juices has come to life.

RBAs are a game changer. It's like going from a cig-a-like straight to a VV Mod... but better :D :vapor:

I have yet to wrap my own coil/wicks, but have an AGA-T2 that was given to me already set up and just got a Silver Dog Hybrid. I really don't even touch my cartos or clearos other than 1 or 2 puffs to change up the flavor.

Just noticed your locale too, my brother was born there and myself in Fort Hood. Cheers to you :toast:

Rolling my own wick and wrapping my own coil and having it work better than any clearo, carto, atomizer I've tried has been the most rewarding experience I've had while vaping other than quitting analogs last year.

You and your brother Army brats?

I'm sure that was. I am a little nervous about it actually. lol Thinking about tinkering with the AGA sometime this week.

We almost were but Dad got out right after I was born. Being in that area are you military?

Just put a fresh coil on my AGA-T2 tonight. I can't believe how much more awesome this is vaping!!! It was my first time wrapping a coil. Turned out ok. I'll hopefully get better at wrapping the coils as I do it more. First_Coil.jpg First_Coil_Vapor.jpg

I've tried one of my T2s on my eVic but the 510 connector on the eVic worries me. That big heavy RBA make the eVic connector wobble even more than it normally does.

the AGA-T2 sits completely flush on the eVic cone. I've dropped mine a few times on limestone, tile, carpet, concrete, my foot etc.

I beautified my eVic and T2 for a more unique look. But as you can see it sits flush, I rewrapped my coil tonight too Palmtree

how you liking the BoD kit? I wanted on of the Kir Fanis ones bc I like the top cap better but idk if he's making anymore of them.
Hey TD ...

Love the "bOd" ... I like my electronic mods long, mechanicals short. It has nearly the same high-caliber craftsmanship as one would see in the Atmizoo Roller. I have no idea what he is doing, haven't kept track.

This cap fits fine, in fact perfectly. I did grind down the eVic's 510 connection a touch so the fire-button would line up with the wick. That also means that this AGA-T2 will be on there for life, and if anything goes wrong, I already got plenty of spare parts to fix it.

The AGA-T2 on this eVic is 1 of 3 I have, and the wick hole has been drilled out to 9/64 so I can fit large ceramic wicks. Great vapes.

I have never looked into the Kir Francis, and this is all I will be doing with eVics, as I am using mechanicals now mostly.

Cool deal. I plan on getting another eVic control head and some sort of stainless steel tube kit for it. Would like a mechanical or 2 as well. I'll probably just make them myself though. I like the top cap for the Kir Fanis because the edges aren't rounded. The bOd is really nice looking though.

Your evic looks great man! I'll be rewrapping my coil tonight or tomorrow to see if I can get a more even heat. I'll throw it on the evic when I finish and upload a picture of it. My evic is solid black, but that bOd looks sweet with the AGA on top. :hubba:

I started my AGA-T experience with an eVic. Where the 510 connector is strong itself, you can unscrew the top head of the evic to sit flush with the base cap for added stability. My personal experience with the eVic is that it operates best between 1.5 to 2.8 ohms, and 5 to 9 watts. The AGA-T where it works at a wide range of power and with multiple wick options, tends to shine at higher power. Use the eVic to get to know the AGA-T. When you are ready buy yourself a flat top Natural with an IMR battery and .28 and .30 Kanthal. You keep the flush look with the eVic while having a not so bad priced yet reliable mech mod. (I went with the Telescope and sacrificed the flushness with increased reliability, and flexability, again IMO.)

From there you can begin to experience higher watt vaping that was a real game changer for me with the AGA-T. Instead of having 2 to 3 coils, you can do 4 to 5 to increase vapor production. As well you can turn up the power going to the coils. A .30 gauge 4 wrap is about 1.2 to 1.0 ohms (12+/- watts) and .28 will give you .9 to .7 ohms (18+/- watts).

Thanks dude.
I dropped my Vic on the kitchen tile earlier and the top cap popped off. Didn't even ding my AGA, but broke the pos wire loose from the board. Soldered it back and all is well. Messed up my coil though. It was 1.9 ohms and now its at 2.2 so I'm burning it at 4.5-5v now. Draining the crap out of my battery.

You can further oxidize the wick on the e-vic, while dry. It is not that much harder due to protection. I run one on a VAMO, great learning experience. Once the coil gets good and oxidized it reeks flavor! I run SS atm, waiting on ceramic.

Yeah, every coil I wrap gets dry burned for several minutes before I get it wet.
