eVic and charge/usb port cover

Ok, I'll bite. Whats the trick to getting the little plastic usb/charge cover to seat in properly on a Evic?

Never really had a problem or had to pay attention to technique. I just mash it in with my thumb, straight in. What's yours doing. A pic might be easier to understand.

Get the end of the cap with the tether that goes into the mod seated first. Then the rest of the cap will easily seat.

I saw a youtube review of the eVic once and the guy couldn't get the cover back in so he ended up tearing if off. Mine so far works fine.

Mine works fine. If you bought recently they started putting in replacement USB covers. Might try to sway it for a new one.
