Just to note, the new upgraded evic shown in the pic a few posts back. Vapor Joe's gave it a big miss, mostly because it offers a feature for that very big display, the ability to upload a photo (or perhaps more than one) to be displayed as you vape.

I have to agree that it's not my cup of tea, but it got bad reviews because it has a goofy feature that doesn't really affect performance?
Isn't that what an eVic is all about?
If it vapes like it should and hits 30 watts, having a picture as a home screen saver ahouldnt affect reviews should it?

I have an eVic and agree. Less than $30 vamo performance with a bunch of features that are not really all that useful. If the original was rugged and had 15 watts of output, it would have been worth the money. Hopefully joyetech upgraded the new one to be more rugged and perform. Im not biting until the supreme has a bit of time on the street.

Just got my evic supreme in the mail. Size wise its as tall as a evic with a protank up to the glass. Weight is heavier. Feels more solid. The adjustment ring spins all the way around!
Its stainless steel now rather than aluminum like it was. The evic supreme head does use the same threading as the evic. So could use your old tube. Haven't used it except a few puffs. Im charging the batteries I got

Heh, the reviews are biased on functions and personal viewpoints. My son bought me one in Silver for my Birthday this past Monday. It hits 30 watts and does put out the power. I'm using a Patriot RDA Dual Microcoil at .5 Ohms @ 26 Watts and the vape is on par with my Vaporshark DNA 30. Once I got the screen arranged the way I wanted it through the MyVapor application, the apv was set. The screen is quite busy with counters, date and time, atomizer resistance, VV/VW settings, battery life, et cetera. I've only had this apv for a couple days, so only time will tell if its durable. Nice of my son to think of his old decrepit father and buy him such a nice gift.

edit: I just found out the Evic Supreme has a user replaceable 510 connection, apparently that was a major failure point for the Evic.
