Evic Dead

As a new user I have to post here but my problem is with the Evic.

Was working fine last night. Put it on the charger and this morning it read 100 Charge completed.

I took it off power and it read the same thing. Pressing the power button does nothing. Tapping it does nothing. Cannot turn it off or on. It's stuck at charge completed 100.

I've taken the battery out and it goes off all the way. Battery back in and it won't turn on.

If I hook it up to a computer with the battery attached the computer doesn't recognize it. But if I take the battery out it connects to my computer correctly. I've tried the factory reset and tried flashing to it's newest firmware. Neither fixed the issue.

Has anyone else seen this? Any recommendations?

Do you have a different battery to try? Can you take a hit at all with the mod plugged in without a battery? I don't recall if it can work as a passthrough or not...

I am going to buy a battery tonight when I get off work. I cannot take a hit or access menus when it is attached to power either with the battery in or out. It does not function at all at the moment.
I have tried both of the forum posts here. It does not enter the download mode as described in the second post and I don't know if anything inside the thing is broken. I could probably open it up and see but I don't know if that voids any sort of warranty that joytech would have on it.

External charger
Never charge over night. - Fire hazard exist with all Lithium Ion batteries.

The user on the post said their USB cord was an issue. Did you try another micro USB cord?

I did try two different usb cords on multiple computers and usb ports. The external charger does get the screen to light up and say charge 100 but still nothing works.
I'll replace the battery tonight and see what comes of it.
