got 2 protanks2 and when i put either one on the evic the draw is comparable to sucking a really thick milkshake, which i like before, with a 2.5 ohm atty id be firing it up on auto mode for 6.3 seconds. then got into rbas and found my sweet spot. 1.2 ohms from 9 watts to 10.2 when i vape it says 2.5 seconds and i get tons of colder vape. now the protanks are just purely used as backup. 1 issue with loosening the protank is that the evics threads easily wear out. something i learned when building my rbas screwing them on and off all the time, one day i just noticed that they are wobbling now when i put them on, now i got to put them on snug and i try not to take it off unless i really have to. so just to warn you guys easy on the threads. dont even bother loosening the protank because you will end up messing the threads. protank on evics = sucking hard. get a vivi nova and make the air holes bigger, my vivi draws better on the evic

you could unscrew the evic's crown cap and just vape the protank like that. Or you could use a dremel to make the slits bigger. or you could use a drill bit to make the protank's holes bigger. or you could mess around with the wicks in the protank. or you could use a 510 to eGo adaptor to raise the protank. or you could unscrew the tank a teeny bit to allow air to flow under it easier.

eVic is NOT the Problem - I have (2) eVic's and use Protanks on Both - no problem

Kanger Protank 2 uses a modified design of the original Base.
The PT2 base has 3 air holes on the 510 connection, just above the threading.
These holes are now 1/2 the diameter of the original.

You can:
A - drill larger
B - replace base with an original

Discount Vapers has Bases available

Also Note - a few PT2 have defective bases that seem to be miss drilled and are easily blocked when screwed down snug.
