Question? I just got my eVic Easy Head, been using it for a day and a half. This morning the light turned light blue to denote a low battery (at least that's what happens when an ego gets below like 20% or whatever... So I pulled the battery out and checked it in one of my regular eVic's and it showed 60% battery left.

Is this normal? Will it change once again to another color once it gets to 20 or 25% ? Any help most appreciated!

Thanks all!

Light blue on my eGo-C is maybe 50% -- BLUE blue is about 10%, or about to die. I say try it and see if it goes fully blue. My guess is it will, since they're probably using a blue and a white LED in there, and making it cyan by lighting both at once, and at 10-20% it'll only light the blue.

I don't have an Easy Head, but if joyetech is using the same system, the battery registering at 60% when it hits cyan doesn't sound unfeasible.

Well, when you consider that the easy head is just an upgrade of the older ego-t upgrade mod with mini-usb charging verses the ego charging...
Why they want to charge $25 for it, I've no clue... I've bought 2 each easy heads for $10 each. the older heads were about $8

Thanks! I just hated to take it out with me only to have it go dead without proper warning. I'll try to run it all the way down and see what happens. I'll report back in a day or 2, as I went ahead and charged it back up. :)

What exactly did you get for $10? I paid 18 for this one... I like it pretty well however, so that at least makes me feel better. :)

Works like an Ego and will shut off when low.

Switching operation and features

From regulated constant voltage output mode to unregulated voltage (actual battery voltage) output:

When the mode is in 3.5v regulated voltage output mode (blue LED), deactivate by clicking rapidly 5 clicks (blue LED blinks 3 times).
Then press down the button for 5 seconds (not 5 clicks), and the LED will change to amber with 3 blinks. The mode has switched to unregulated voltage output mode.
Then click the button rapidly 5 times, and you can use it at unregulated voltage output.
In unregulated voltage output mode, the LED is amber.
When charging, amber LED will blink 5 times in this new mode.

From unregulated voltage output to regulated voltage output mode:

The same procedure as above. In unregulated voltage output mode (amber LED), deactivate by clicking rapidly 5 clicks (amber LED blinks 3 times).
Then press down button for 5 seconds (not 5 clicks), and the LED will change to blue with 3 blinks. The mode has switched to 3.5V regulated voltage output mode.
Then click the button rapidly 5 times, and you can use it in 3.5V constant regulated voltage.
In 3.5V constant voltage, the battery performs the same as a normal eGo-T battery.
When charging, blue LED blinks 5 times in this new mode.

Suggestion - for worry free charging use an external charger. about 90% of non Drop failures seem to be on units charged by the USB. This is an eVic issue, but Easy head may suffer the same weakness.

an evic easy head.. bought 2. Place was having a sale. Only reason I bought then as I have several of the older ego-t upgrade mods and these fit. The tubes also fit the normal evic head.

What does the Easy head do? Just fire and off?[/QUOTE

Simply a regulated or unregulated replacement/conversion for the eVic head. Has a mini usb connection for charging the battery instead of using an ego type charger.
