I have been researching vapes and its like the rabbits hole. I couldnt decide if I wanted the usb convenience of an ego style or the build quality and battery life of a mechanical. So at first, I decided to get an Evic. It has the replaceable battery and I was going to get the easy head controller rather than the lcd display. I just NEED a micro usb port, thats why i didnt go mechanical.

I decided NOT to get the Evic due to build quality. I was wondering if I bought a Roller mod(pictured below), would I be able to attach the evic easy head to it? if not, are there any mechanical bodies that have the same threading that would allow me to? Sorry in advance is this is a stupid question. I am new to this whole scene, but I am just trying to make the best decision I can.

there are several threading sizes on device bodies depending on the manufacture so not everything is plug and play. You would need someone that has done that set up before.

if the easy control head you are referring to is just a 510 connection thats sits on top of the complete mod, as long as the roller is 510 connection you should be okay. if not you would need to find the correct thread adapter

Even if the head fits with 510 mech mod, I wouldn't do it. Mech mods are best at delivering raw power and if you have circuitry like that in the middle, I can't see it lasting long time. You might end up screwing up the batteries also.

Not sure why you specifically need the micro USB, but if you are looking for a pass-through mod, you can get ProVari with a pass-through kit.

Thanks for the replies...I REAAALLLY want the provari, but the reason I need the micro usb plug is for conveniece. I dont really want to take out the battery just to charge. I live in Korea, and since Samsung phones use micro sub, almost any 711 or coffeeshop here carry multiple micro usb cords for customer chargning, so i could be out anywhere in korea, I could just ask workers at any coffeeshop to charge my e cig for me if it had a micro usb port. I dont want to lug around a passthrough kit or go throught the trouble of taking out a battery. I ended up buying the Tornado RCS kit, which is what I was looking for in the evic. but, if provari ever comes out with a kit that includes a micro usb plug, Im on it. I just hope when the tornado rcs kit comes in, the build quality wont be too terrible. Again thanks for the replies guys.
