My brother actually is who sold me on it, I was going to try a VAMO or Zmaxx, but my brother says he loves his and we have the same idea about certain features, so I trusted his judgement. The vamo just seemed really big even when setup for smaller batteries and the Z kind of lost me with a single button operating system, so aside from Provari(yes I know this has a single button too, but c'mon the thing makes everything in your house turn to gold, lol or so I've been told.). So in the end this seemed logical to me as my first APV.

I use a 2.0ohm DCT on mine, and set the MVR Script to go from 5.0 gradually down to 4.0 over 6 seconds, then remaining at 4 for the duration of the script.

Also, I've found out that I lose less battery power by letting the unit go to sleep rather than powering it off at night. Not too sure why that is...

I'm more caveman than techie, (being Infantry does that to you), how exactly would I do that?

This can be done with the MVR software that can by downloaded from Joyetech's website. Once you put the software on your PC and link it to your eVic via USB you can easily update the firmware to 1.2, make your general settings and then (if you wish) go into the MVR section and program the power curve.

I'm not into all that MVR stuff myself as the eVic's standard VV-VW scalability is just fine for me. If you use your PC to program the general stuff you don't have to use the small OLED menu screen and wheel to to it on the actual unit. MUCH easier.
