I agree with you on the lower ohm coils. I prefer them as well and usually stay within 3.2-3.4V on a 1.8ohm coil. Picked up the BCC Mega and BCC Mini and using 1.8's and am amazed at the taste, vapor and appearance of these new clearo's. I never had success using very high voltage on anything. Might pickup a ProTank soon. Was on the fence but now I think Ill give them a shot.

I re coiled my pro tank and I'm at 1.3 ohm and vaping at 3.7 v which is about 10.5 watts

A I'm surprised the evic fires a 1.3 ohm
b. it looks great with an evic after market flat top
C kanger pro tank and evods are great
D - I'm really liking the evic

I guess my point is you'll like the pro tank - it's an airy draw but easily custaziable if you want - just google pro tank airy draw but I got used to the airy draw ever since I started drilling out my genny air holes

No, I have the same deal. Everything I've tried(standard/xl/lr/sr carto, protank/any clearo, AGA T-2, 901 dripper) work great, all the way up to almost 10 watts before either my wife or I can tel it's starting to taste burned. Protanks especially have been really good to us. I love me some pink lemonade at about 8.7w.

I must be weird.

I use my eVic between 8.5 and 9.5W... :vapor:

I also use a 2.2ohm boge Cartridge in a Tank.

I don't understand watts. I use the ego-c twist with the Kanger eVod clearomizer and keep it on 3.8 mostly. With the Protank II, on 4.0 usually. I don't think those numbers are watts.

I found, just recently, that I don't like 1.8 ohm heads. The draw seems too hard. I have to suck and suck and suck to get the same amount of vape I get with the 2.2 ohm head. Would a 2.5 ohm be even better? The 2.2 ohm doesn't give that warm a vapor for me without a burn taste though. Any suggestions?

Even though they are now all supposed to be the same, earlier EVOD heads were slightly different than those for the ProTank. The difference was the air passage through the head was slightly smaller on the EVOD head than that found on the ProTank head. Maybe this is the case for you in that your 1.8 ohm head is an older EVOD head.

The EVOD and ProTank head are interchangeable, so if you have a 1.8 ohm head for your ProTank try it on your EVOD and see if that makes a difference.

If you want a warmer vape, then you might be happier with a top coil clearomizer such as a Vivi Nova. Bottom coil clearomizers such as the EVOD and ProTank generally tend to give a cooler vape in comparison to a top coil device.

Thanks for the advice. Went back to my 2.2 ohm and get a better vape, for me. I like a little cooler vape than myfriends do. I don't know many vapers in my area, yet.
