Hi all,
Thought I'd share my experience here and ask if anyone else has had this problem and maybe found a better solution.
I love the draw on my ProTank when its got an evod atomizer in it. Works great on my ego twists, but once I popped it on my eVic all I'd see is "atomizer short". After fiddling (technical term) I realized my setup would work fine as long as the bottom flat part of the Protank didn't connect with the metal top cap of the eVic. So, I put some junk mail to good use and cut out a circular part of the plastic envelope window and chit a hole in the middle for the threads to fit through. The plastic insulates the two pieces and I'm good to go.

Anyone else seen this behavior and maybe come up with a better workaround?

Well, once you make contact with the center pin, if you keep cranking to get it flush, you SMASH things. This is never good.:glare:

One of my Vivi tanks sits 1/8" above the top of the eVic. I use a tank support to make a nice solid fit.

Agreed - and I didn't want to imply that I'm doing a HULK SMASH kind of thing. :) My concern was if I left the Protank screwed on gently enough that it didn't touch the top of the eVic, it was also a bit wobbly. I like the idea of using a tank support much more than my plastic insulator - thanks for the idea!
