Evic fragile?

I have heard from friends that the evic is a one drop mod. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Where can you get the best warranty for it?

I just think I really like this mod but knowing me, the second I get it all like I want it...BaM hits the ground and there I am.

Yes I had two where the 510/ego connector came rite off the mod needless to say its not a very robust device nice features but otherwise sucks and customer support from joyetech is horrible don't think I'm ever getting another joyetech product

The issue is the press fit control head top but really any mod can break in one drop it all depends on your luck

Don't believe the hype about the evic being fragile. If you abuse it, it will break. Just like any other electronic device. If you're ham fisted, then this probably isn't for you.

That being said, I use mine every day. It's my main device - which means it goes where I go. I've knocked it off tables in restaurants, off coffee tables at home, and most recently dropped it in the parking lot at work. And it still works. Thanks to the parking lot at work it has a few cosmetic issues but that can be fixed with a wrap or new tube.

Will it survive a hit from Thor's hammer? No. Anything can be broken.

Personally, I get really sick of people saying that a flea farted at their evic from 1000 yards and it disintegrated. Joyetech has made some improvements to the design to make it more robust but at the end of the day it's no different than your cell phone. Take care of it and you won't have any problems. Beat the $)@(# out of it and it will not last

Without all the details..i have one but i keep it at home because everything about it screams i am fragile...

I have not had any problems with mine and have dropped it several times with no issues. I did buy a Siam Mod body for mine though.

my vamo is tougher sure a few scratches but the 510 connector hasnt came off and its half the price until joyetech makes the 510/ ego connector a thread on or epoxy it to the control head i wont buy another one

Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said other than to share my experience. So far, my eVic has performed flawlessly and yes, I've dropped it a few times. I'm probably going to mod mine in the near future which I wouldn't bother doing if I didn't think it was worth it.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys! I appreciate it. My birthday is around the corner and not sure if I'm getting a new provari or evic. If I wind up getting an evic I will come back to this thread and update my experiences as they come.
