You can only do it through the MVR software on your computer (hence the name) but its a lot of fun for creating voltage and power profiles over the vape. For instance, having the voltage ramp up from 3.5v to 5V over 3 seconds, warming up the coil, or vice versa, rapidly heating the coil and then tapering down to reduce burning of the juice. Theres a lot of possibilities for experimentation.
In the MVR VV setting, you can customize voltage based on the the resistance of the atty you put on automatically. Its got some great possibilities.

I only use the MVR VW, because my attys are all over the place. In the VV you can set 3 atty resistance ranges and set the voltage by time for each of the 3 ranges. In VW you just set how many watts you want over time. I set it for a 8w hot startup then to fade back to 6w

It depends on the atty. I use the ramp up for my gurgly attys(which most are) and just use straight wattage for my non gurglers. The hot beginning gets them going then I back off and they don't taste burnt. When I try to ramp up with my non gurgling attys I either get a hint of burn then it's ok, or if it's too low the hit starts out ok then disappears. Everyone has different tastes though. One of my friends that I converted is into LR and tons of power with tobacco flavored juice, I'm a low power sweet juice user. My go to all day vape for about 5 months is TV Butter rum.

I like 8 Watts... I use the bouncing technique

9...7...8.5...7.5...8...8...8...8...8...9...9...

This pulses, i think better allowing the flow of juice (wicking),

but what do I know, try it if you think its interesting.

I'll give it a try, can't hurt right?

Are all these at .5 sec?

Silica wicks get programmed to hot, then progressively cooler.
Because I want it to use up the juice by the coils efficiently,
then whatever small amount of juice that slowly makes its way to the coil during draw, demands a cooler temp.
this allows you to get a good full mouth of vapor
while avoiding the burnt taste from over powering the quickly drying silica.
