Has anyone been able to get the eVic to connect to the MVR 1.2 beta on the mac? I've tried both my computers and cannot get my control head to be recognized by MVR mac. Any suggestions?

Worked fine for me. Have you tried removing the battery, hold the enter button, plug in the USB cable while keeping the enter button held for an additional 2 seconds? This is what joyetech recommends in their recovery procedure on their website. Then once it's recognized by the software you can flash it and all should be good.
Yeah the fire button. It won't clear it, this is just a method to get the computer to actually recognize the device is plugged in.
Don't actually own one but have looked into them as I have a Mac... May want to try a different USB port as well.
Installing the code file would fail and it wouldnt detect so i just updated on windows and now the mac app detects the evic.

I did need to restart my Mac after the install in order for it to see the eVic. Not sure if that might help.
