I'm having a problem with my evic. Well more or less my girlfriend. I started vaping with the evic and protank 2 then got nautilous mini. I moved on to a mech mod and rda then got the ipv2s and still drip.. love it. She just started vaping and after the evic Sat for three months she started using it. It barely hits. Doesn't matter what I try. Different battery, different coils Bvc or dual. I used to do lung hits and like switching back and forth between mouth and lung hits and that doesn't matter. So I Tryed it on my ipv2s at 7 watts and it hit great. I almost kept it and was going to go buy another tank for her. I know how ipv2s works and it doesn't down regulate like evic too. But when I was using it it worked fine but it sat three months with no love. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm a mechanic and I'm seriously about to tear it apart because it acts like a loose connection or ground because it also reads the resistance of any coil .2 ohms higher than it actually is. 1.6 reads 1.8 and 1.8 reads 2.0. Please any ideas?

A .2ohm variance can be simply from a New coil not yet seating(coil legs) or from screwing the atomizer on in a slow fashion with the unit powered.
eVic reads ohms at instant of contact, even if the atomizer is loose.(higher resistance)
You are never going to get anything near what the IPV does of an eVic and this could be conceptual.

Have you cleaned the Battery contacts, under head and spring surfaces?
Have you cleaned the 510 threading and center Pin?

I have (2) eVics now 2yrs. old and working like new.

I just cleaned every single part with 91% rubbing alcohol and works a tad better but still not like it used to. I'm going to try putting a vtc5 from my ipv in it next. Brand new. The battery that came with it and the extra one I had died during the three months especially the samsung. Could the batterys just be no good? From sitting dead? This really sucks. I praised that evic. Love the fact you can program a voltage curve specifically to your liking just wish it was like 15 watts.
