I received my new Evic today. One of the big sells for me was the ability to limit the amount of puffs. I was going through the manual to see how this can be done, but my Evic does not have the setting stated in the manual. When I go to the menu for puff settings I can only view my current amount and reset. I upgraded the firmware to the newest version to no prevail. I have also gone back one version. Is this a fault in the device or a new layout joyetech is doing?

I know you can set it from your computer, I think it is under:
Vapor Set
Alarm set: by puff, then you can select their choices or set your own.

I don't have an eVic yet (I am waiting for the version with the headphone jack for listening to mp3s)
which firmware and which MVR version are you using?
It looks like you set puff limit through the MVR software on your computer now if there is no option in the menus on the eVic itself.
(won't this be frustrating if you hit the limit while you are driving?)

I started with 1.4 then downgraded to 1.3 to see it would make a difference. Even on the computer I did not see the puff limit, but on both the computer and evic there are alarm options for puff amount. You have to go to customize to change it from time to puff. Thank you pmcode. As for the car, not a big deal for me because I don't use it while driving.
