New To Mods, Thinking of Getting an eVic. Is the old version worth buying?

So the person I was chatting to on the vendor's Facebook page was wrong. The versions they had on their store was the one with the updated head. Pulled the trigger and got it at around $79. Now paired with a Vision ET rba on drip mode.
