I'm considering cancelling my Hana clone order and buying the evic supreme. Can anyone here (that owns one) tell me any reason why I shouldn't? The biggest complaint I've seen is about the USB cover. I can live with that.

Well... I just received my evic on Friday and this thing is a monster!!! If you don't mind using a device that reminds you of a light saber then go for it bro! I guess I can still keep mine as a backup.

It does sound like a good device but the size of the Evic will probably stop me from picking one up.

Odd, my eVic doesn't reset any options when I swap my battery.

I'll be damned, I just took the batteries out of both of them for about 5 minutes, and neither one stopped keeping time! All this time I thought it was gaining time on battery swaps, when actually I guess it just has a fast clock. I assume they both have some sort of battery in the control head to be able to do this? I mean, can electronics keep time without power?

Been using the evic-s for 5 days now and starting to run into a problem. I keep getting an atomizer short warning. If I take the tank off and back on it works fine again so I tried going back to the original evic for a few hours with the same tank. Didn't have a problem. I am using the aerotank mega on it and the coils are about a week old but it works on everything else I put it on. Anyone else having a problem with the atomizer short warning?

Only once. 3 clicks and it re read my atty correctly. Nothing since.

On a sidenote; in my experience, mass produced coils are 50/50. And kanger is more like 80/20 (with the 20 being your end)
It's like cartomizers, you may get a pack of five that last 4 months. Or you get a pack of duds that fry one after another.

I used to constantly get this error on my older evic with iclears, kanger tanks, (all of them) cartos, vivi; you name it. With my atomic and kayfun, the coils last way longer, and I get the most accurate output. (Vapor). No short errors for those attys on my new evic. But my nautilus gave me an error once. Think it just wasn't fastened properly.

If in fact you are looking for something that looks like a light saber, the flip mech definitely looks the part. But I'll be boiled in baked beans before I'll pay 250-300$ for a battery tube that I will surely destroy.

I have an original evic and this happens occasionally with the Kanger tanks. The way they're designed, the bottom end of the coil head assembly is also the center post in the tank's 510 connector. If you don't have the coil head screwed ALL the way in, sometimes the post doesn't quite reach far enough to make a solid connection. If you open the tank up and tighten the coil head down as far as it will go, that should solve the problem (provided, of course, that it's the same problem as I have with my original evic).

Thanks for the info on the atomizer short. All good advise but it seems as if I tighten it to where it feels like it won't back its self off and loose the tank I get the atomizer short warning but if I don't put it a little snug the tank ends up very loose after awhile to the point my tank feel off taking it out of my pocket. It works when it's loose and shorts when it's tight and I don't mean cranked on with tremendous force just tight enough that the tank is stable and will stay on after handling.

Have you tried to loosen the coil head inside the tank a little so that you can screw the tank on tighter? That's basically the opposite of what I was suggesting, but if you can't screw it on tight enough without getting the error, maybe that will help.

I always snug my Protanks to where they have the right compression on the contact, then back the top ring off to "lock" it down. In fact, I still do that with every device I screw on. (I was actually glad that there was a gap on my new eVic) On mechanical mods I do (sorta) the same thing, but with the battery cap-switch, or the adjustable center pin, whichever it might have.

Works just fine in 18350 mode. I only turned it up to about 6 volts, but it didn't seem to mind at all.
