not to sound like a nag, but all resized 64x128 and converted to bmp files, in their own folder, in the joyetech pic folder?
I resized everything to the size of the existing (joyetech stock) pics for the respective logo types (boot, home screen, screensaver). Bearing in mind that each logo type requires a different size. And yes all were converted to bmp files. And all are in the joyetech pic folder. Each placed individually within a folder. Only home screen works. The others give error messages.

the only thing i can see that i did different, is that i followed Twisted, and made a new folder for my custom home, start up and screen saver.

Anybody see the new Hybrid Atty coming out for the Evic? It's a rebuildable Kayfun style tank that actually connects to the outer threads that the beauty ring connects to. I cannot wait to get that thing. Not sure if someone mentioned this already, too lazy to look back through the thread. Also the Delta, tri-coil heads! Looks pretty nice, and functions at 6v. Joyetech is stepping their game WAY UP!!

Am I the only one who is tapping the best eVic-S feature in the whole package? The customizable power curves! (Joyetech calls it "RVV" or "RVW".) It's the one thing that changed my vaping more than any other feature on this or any other device I've tried. I've never before been able to adjust the flavor intensity and level of throat hit from the first tenth of a second onward, throughout the entire draw. Every draw can now be measurably closer to what I consider "perfect".

It's the next level of control over the vaporization of our e-juices. It's to VV/VW what VV/VW was to pressing a button and delivering whatever is in the battery to the atomizer when vaping was new.

It's the only feature that truly outdates every other device in existence. Unless there's another mod that offers customizable power curves, that is. I've looked and asked and asked and looked, but no others seem to exist yet, even as the DNA30 technology wave is becoming more and more widespread.

Why press a button and take whatever vape is given you when you can decide exactly what vape you prefer and get that one instead?

Ehhmmmm.....you can use the RVV and RVW profiles on the old eVic as well.
Very good point. And I have the added embarrassment that I already knew that at some point in the recent past, before my excitement briefly overtook my sense of logic.

I never owned an eVic, but I had decided to buy one just before I heard about the Supreme. Thank goodness I learned of the S when I did.

What's very hard for me not to get excited about is a device that has the feature of customizable power curves AND is built like a finely manufactured bank vault.

I still wonder, though, why every other vaper on Earth isn't as excited about the feature in question. I wouldn't wonder at all if it had made any less than a dramatic difference in the quality of my vaping. If I were a vaper who didn't want an eVic Supreme for any particular reason, I would be screaming at my mod maker of choice to introduce a product with such a feature.

To be honest I haven't use the feature yet. The reasons is I haven't used the computer software yet lol. But I see two problems with the RVW features:

    1. No adjusting / scaling the complete curve, so if you have a curve from 15w to 10w and want to scale it up to 18w to 12w instead, you need to create a new profile. An easy to use feature to select standard curves on the device itself and scale them would be easier to use.

    2. When I inhale, I don't get much taste / flavor at all! Don't know if it's just me, but I only get flavor on the exhale through nose, so a changing profile would do nothing for me

PS: What kind of curves do you use and what is the advantage? Please share how you use it! My only idea is to "frontload" so that the coil heats up faster, but then again the delay from fire button / coil firing is a bigger issue with all of this.

No scaling is one of the reasons why I don't use it,
I use a Protank2, and when I start with a fresh tank I need to vape at a lower wattage or I get dry hits
then as the liquid level gets lower, 1/2 full then I can up the wattage and not get dry hits.

    2. When I inhale, I don't get much taste / flavor at all! Don't know if it's just me, but I only get flavor On the exhale through nose, so a changing profile would do nothing for me
What I do when I vape, I do a mouth inhale then do a lung inhale, then while I'm exhaling through my nose I do a mouth inhale again.
this way I get both flavor through my mouth and nose at the same time.

Switching between different atomizers, drippers is a bit of a pain when using RVW/RVV and I still haven't figured out if there is a way to adjust on the screen. Usually I just want to switch modes to "normal VW" when I switch out the tank. I know it's possible but most of the time I resort to the computer. Also, haven't figured out to have more than one RVW profile - software has a lot of bugs. That said - KFL+, 1.3 coil, cotton, 5 Pawns CL, going from an initial 1.2 seconds at 17 watts down to 11 in the 5 second range is just huge flavor, huge vapor, no burning - just awesome. My biggest complaint is probably the non adjustable/no spring 510 connector. The gap on the KFL bugs me for sure.
