| Hi, I wanna show you my custom design for eVick. First of all, tube was shorten to 61,80mm to fit 18500 batteries. Of course it must be re-threaded. After this, total length is 108mm. Next, I send it to my friend yarofe from polish ecig forum for a paint job (http://www.e-papierosy-forum.pl/post662083.html?hilit=Aerografia#p662083). Paint of choice was black pearl, and in my opinion it looks just awesome

Paint it black pearl covered with transparent gold pearl covered with four layers of clear coat finish.
The full effect is only visible in the sunlight.

This is absolutely wonderful... Makes me want to go buy an airbrush kit, perfect cosmetic enhancement!
This not only airbrush, painting and coatings knowledge helps in mastering the material.

Definitely not trying to downplay the experience required, just saying that I want this and will settle for a half-assed version of it
.looks great. Can you share the priming process, if any? Did you need to sand down the factory finish, and/or apply a primer?
There is no need for sanding, but you can.
I neatly put roughened surfaces and acrylic primer for aluminum for enhanced grip.
Of course, it is clear coat.
Two times two layers plus polishing.
I think that in normal use, is more durable than the standard.

This is not as hard as it looks.
Take the time to learn and patience.
I can guide you by ''the hand'' how to do it properly.
