Well I just got my VTC minis and they already had v3.0 on them must be a fresh batch. I didn't realize they are so small. Will have to get used to the size. Anyway I did what I said and set the TCR on M1 to 400 and am getting a perfect vape at 430F 25w so that must be the magic number I tried it at 366 what Ti actually is and it was very much like their setting. So that must be off. Also does anyone know if there are any sleeves that are really good. I can tell I will need them these are so small but vape perfect at least the one I have set up so far. Just like my SX's only 1/5 the price. Definately a good mod for what I wanted.
Where did you buy your VTC Mini? I'm looking to buy another one, and want to get a "fresh" one with newest hardware revision. What HW revision is your unit? (shows on the firmware upgrade screen.)

Say do these have a protective cover on the screen or is it supposed to be there.
I just got this one in the mail today and it's terrific. Feels great in the hand. $2.53 for white, black, red or rose red.

How does the finish stand up on these without sleeves

I've been using my black VTCm for over a month as my ADV (6-10ml/day). It has taken a few falls onto various surfaces. I've watched the battery door go flying twice. I see no nicks/wear at all, not even on the bottom. I can't be more happy for the $35 I spent on the kit.

Where are you all getting them TCR numbers from. I'm using anywhere from 92~120 for SS, Am I doing something wrong.
2legs was talking about his preferred titanium TCR setting, not stainless. 92-120 is right on for many SS builds, although I go as high as 140 sometimes.

Well the TCR for Ti is supposed to be 366 according to SE. That gives you a weak vape unless you get up to around 500F. If it was right you should get a good vape at 420-430F
Right on. It also works well for those of us who prefer cool vapes with stainless steel. We can use lower a TCR than the default SS316 setting to fine tune our vapes for lower heat. The user adjustable TCR feature rocks. That was a big coup from Joyetech.

I have had my unit for just two days. Here's what I think.
Small but comfy (I wear a size L glove).
Screen is great, bright enough, clear font, plenty of info.
Build quality is what I expected on this price mod. A bit of noise/flexing/popping from the magnetic battery door. For me the battery compartment is backward. The positive and negative terminals are reversed, meaning the floating terminal should have been on the negative end and the flat on the positive end. But it does work.
Had a few times that the vape is anemic no matter the watts or temp. A quick unscrew and rescrew of the tank fixed that.
Battery life is shorter than on my SX Mini M or ML using the same tank and coil. I'm guessing it is for the same amount as I go through about 12 ml a day.

Don't think I dislike this mod, in all, I like this little mod a lot!
May get another in fact.
