Ok I seem to have met some success (for the last hour anyway) by doing this:
Remove the atty
Unlock the res
Turn the device off
Turn the device on
Wait until the screen turns off and then put the atty back on without waking the device.
Lock the res

My res came in a bit higher (0.4 vs 0.37) and my comfortable vape is 450 instead of 530, which matches what i liked when using ni200. So far the res hasn't dropped. I'm going to try turning the device off when I remove my tank to refill (Lemo drop) to avoid the res dropping when I refill.

OK initial test

Unlock resistance
Remove atty
Turn off turn on
Fired a couple of times without atty
Insert atty, from .12 it went up to .14
Initial fire asked me if it was a new coil ,I said yes hehehehe
Vaped a few times
Let it rest 10mins
Vapes as normal
Vapes OK at 480 again, its OK
Went down to 380 nice a bit cold but lots of vapor still

Will repeat later with a longer cool down

So far I works for me ...for now

Thank you!
I'm still waiting for my Ti wire to arrive.
You can try in ni too I guess think its worth thou
Good advise but will still continue to observe

I have a bad habit of turning the mod off when not in use not sure if that does anything

Now I get the new coil prompt since resistance goes uo

I'll test it out with Ni and see how well it works tomorrow.

Woo-hoo a temporary fix possibly?! Locking res when it is actually varying could lead to the problem occurring. Glad to hear a remedy that is working as of now

I only experienced it for about a day.

Since then I have been making sure everything is cool. Turn it on with no atty attached. Clicked 3 times. Went down to Atty lock and unlocked it. Screwed atty on and locked it. Then vaped away. Seems to work as intended. Vaping anywhere between 390-450 depending on my mood and desire for heat.

My logic in this path of steps was that I felt like I was sending some power to the coil when clicking 3 times to get to atty lock. Warm coil. Screwy reading. Weak vape. So basically get it ready to lock. Attach atty and hit lock button. When I was trying to do it with the atty attached I would notice the temp reading 180ish when I was clicking 3 times to try and get to Atty lock.

Maybe I'm giving myself to much credit an something else is at play. But it has worked for a few days now.

Happy again.

Had the exact same experience. No problems since. Although I haven't changed atties yet. Been dripping exclusively for quite some time and I am enjoying the drip vacation my new KS is affording. Been telling myself "I'm gonna throw a Ti build on the Veritas tomorrow" since I received the Mini on Friday. Has yet to happen.

This is my first TC mod. Been looking to scoop one for some time but the Mini was the first one to check all the boxes without dropping rDNA coin. Took a bit to learn the ropes and dial it in but now I'm cooking with gas and couldn't be happier. Running a .36 Ti single and it's everything I've been waiting for.

OK, if Trolldragon gets happy too, I'ma gonna give up some lunch money for one of these. :thumb:
I'd hang onto your money till my Ti wire arrives and I can get a decent vape with it. The Ni 200 is just too hard to build with since it's so soft and requires so many wraps to get into a semi decent resistance. If the mini worked with a <0.1 ohm build like the specs say it should then Ni 200 could be usable for me, I just hate building with 30g wire.

Tomorrow I am going to try a 0.1 ohm build and see it if works with that and I'll let you know for sure!
