Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini Review - Spinfuel eMagazine
"After we received our review units we received an email with a new firmware upgrade.Attaching the device to my Mac (yes, they have a Mac version of the upgrade), it was easy to upgrade. Follow the directions and the firmware updates to v1.02. One word of caution: After the upgrade your eVic-VTC Mini will jump to the full 60watts of power."
Whatever that means, I'm not sure because I sent them an e-mail before I read this, asking if it uses all it's power to reach temp and they said it's not. I guess it's up to the consumer to investigate
Good to hear. I ordered a billow V2 to go with my VTC mini. Should have both by early-mid next week. I got both in black, but If I were to buy a 2nd VTC mini, I'd definitely go with the white. I like how it looks (in pictures at least) like more of a pearl white, than a regular flat white.I only tested my vapor giants and a billow v2 and both are absolutely great in every aspect. I had to take a bunch of pictures of it today and I thinkI´m going to get a second one but not sure which color, white or another black one.
Hi,
I got mine yesterday and I really love it! I`ve used the VT for a few month but it kinda died today, it doesn´t recognize any of my atomizers anymore, so glad that i received the mini yesterday. I orderd the VT and the SX M Class the same day, compared both with different atomizer with the same built and in my opinion the VT was better in vape, taste etc. so I kept it and let the SX go. The vtc mini is awesome, feels great, faster response compared to the old VT, and power management seems also better, I´ve been chain vaping since yesterday and a Samsung 25R last for about 5-6 hours in temp mode. I almost use only Ni200 or titanium since i´ve had the VT. Somebody mentioned the review from Obis Dampfersofa, watched it again today, he says the vtc mini is one of the best divices he´s ever measured, accuracy is as good as the SX MClass or on the same level like german dicodes as the reference for best accuracy...and these are 300+$ devices.I only tested my vapor giants and a billow v2 and both are absolutely great in every aspect. I had to take a bunch of pictures of it today and I thinkI´m going to get a second one but not sure which color, white or another black one.

Yeah i just saw so many people posting how they vape at 430-500 and I'm only getting up to 390's and getting tons of vapor. Plenty warm. I was just surprised.
Playing around with it. I'm pretty happy at 380-17.5w at .16.

With the mega tank and the juice I have in it now that's exactly where mine is set for best flavor 390.Yeah i just saw so many people posting how they vape at 430-500 and I'm only getting up to 390's and getting tons of vapor. Plenty warm. I was just surprised.

Right now I have my STM filled with some cafe royale @ 24.3w........oh so nice!Different airflow, different juice ratio, different draw style, different wicking, etc. And I'm sure there's somebody out there that thinks your "warm" is "cool". Looking at the way you like to run your Kanthal 0.5 ohm coil (16w), I'd be one of those folks, I need at least 25 watts on a STM RBA at that resistance to be happy with the warmth.
