Hello im new here and also new to vaping, iv been using eVic VT for a week now and using the ti atomizer but what i dont understand about the mod is, everytime i use the power mode i get a coil burn or dry hit even at a very low watt but when i switch to temp it works just fine. Hoping somebody can educate me on why is this happening. Thanks in advance

Ti atomizer is to be used in temperature mode. Ni atomizer is to be used in temperature mode. You got a coil burn or dry hit because the power (watts) applied turned out to be too high of a temperature for the atomizer.

Kanthal atomizers are to be used in power mode (wattage). Depending on resistance, you can vape efficiently from 1-60 watts with the evic vt.

I'm using the evic vt as everyone said Ti ( titanium ) and Ni ( Nicole ) coils should be using temp controls on the evic VT nothing else. Power mode on this mod is for Kanthal coils which you can buy. I have never tried ti/ni coils yet on this mod so I can't help you with that otherwise been using power mode and kanthal coils for now works fine. you might also want to check up some video's/reviews on the temp controls people are saying they are having issues with it on this mod LOTS of people. didn't know what it was all about think it was all about the temp reseting or something like that.

As mentioned, your TI coils should only be used in temperature controlled mode. Have a look into titanium safe usage guidelines. When overheated, which likely happened in your case, it oxidizes & can produce unwanted chemical residue. (TiO2)
You might want to start with a fresh coil.
