Hi I'm having abit of trouble with my eVic VT I am a new member here, so was wondering if anybody could help me.
It's firing up fine it's set to 550 degrees f. 50W and my atomiser reading is 0.21.
It keeps popping up, half way through vape "protection" meaning temp protection I was wondering if this is normal and is it the cigs way of stabilising itself.
Any help would be fantastic!!

Yes it is normal.
Takes some time for you to figure out the best settings.

You should probably lower the wattage.

Note: there could be two different 'protection' messages:
On my evic vtc mini there are:
1: a temperature protection message which appears in the upper portion of the screen and the mod continues to fire
2: an overtemperature protection which takes over the whole screen, and it means the chip is getting too hot.

No it's in the upper part of the screen replaced the temp reading, I'm glad it's normal I'm not used to TC I had a ego1 before this and a curve before that

Good, that just means the coil has reached the right temperature and the mod is just keeping it there and not allowing it to go higher.

It's like if you stamp on the accelerator in your can and proceed to drive, and when your speedometer hits 30mph it just stays there at 30mph and not increase.

Curve? You must be UK? (Totally Wicked?)

Anyway, the temp control kicks in to stop nasty burning of the wick if it's too dry.

Mine is almost constant, but I don't really mind as I've stopped using temp coils and gone back to 12mg at 15 watts.

50w is quite strong for some tanks/designs. What did they give you? (The one from the kit?)

Yea it's the one from the kit and to be honest the vape isn't great I like a good strong hit and I don't get it

Yea It says ni
good deal - that can be one of the more confusing aspects of Temp Control - making sure you are using a TC coil (Ni, Ti, SS, depending on device capabilities)

and conversely - not using a TC coil in wattage mode, particularly - can get way hot and not good

personally, though i have several TC capable devices, i still find i prefer a wattage mode vape

not a huge fan of those tanks, but that is just me - i tend to prefer more airflow... something to keep in mind in regards to a 'good strong hit' - throat hit is often determined by PG and nic level in juice also, not just gear

so, some of it may be tank related, some of it may be juice related - and keep in mind, this is going to be all about figuring out what works for YOU, sister - you'll get lots of advice and suggestions, lol, to the point where you may hit information overload - keep the faith and breathe - you are on the right path
