Evo one week on

I got my evo (evolution) from intellicig just over a week ago. And how is it going?
Well, not bad. I had one teething problem, where I was losing vapour because I wasn't re-filling correctly. Intellicig's support were reasonably quick at responding to my request though I actually sorted the issue out myself.
The real indicator is I'd decided I'd still smoke real cigarettes when I felt like it. That's working out at about once a day. And it may well become less when I find a flavour of liquid I really get on with.
I got 20ml of ECOpure regular at 20mg strength. It's OK - I think the strength is probably right for me. It just doesn't seem to taste of much. It is lasting well though. One week on and I've probably only used a quarter of it. I used to smoke 10 a day. I suppose this means it'll take me a while to get round to finding a flavour I really like.
I suspect that's what it'll take to fully convert me. Unlike quite a few posters I still prefer the taste of a real cigarette. Gitane being my favourites, does that suggest any flavours I should try?
My only real problem is that the 5 second auto cut-out is frustrating - because I never know when I'll set it off. I'm still not sure I'd get on with a manual better though. batteries are no problem so far. I got one larger and on smaller - it doesn't seem to make much difference, since they both last long enough for the other one to charge up before I need it.
You could say I made the kind of newbie 'mistakes' people on here warn against. I just found it all so confusing and alien I went for something comparatively cigarette like. And I don't regret it. I think I would have got stuck wondering if I could really put up with something odd looking (like a screwdriver) and never got started with vaping.
Now I feel I can take my time trying to find out if there is a model that really gives as much 'smoke' as a real cigarette...

Your story sounds very familiar to mine.

Bought the same as you (EVO)
SMoked as much as you (10 a day)
Still smoked 1-5 regular cigs a day when I first got my EVO.
I also notice EcoPure has little flavor (Definately nothing like a tobacco cigarette)
I hated the cutoff as well, I noticed it wasnt as bad a regular M401 battery. The EVO battery gives you 5 seconds and thats it. A primer puff helps with that tho. I got a manual battery and loved it.
Refilling the way they show on their video is perfect for these and if you get into "dipping" you'll find it much easier and quicker to use.

I also had the problem with not being able to find the actual "Cigarette" taste. You can keep hunting but I doubt you'll ever find it... its the smokey flavor we miss and no one has been able to replicate it that I know of. Ive heard that Benson and Hedges flavor is the closest tho.

I stopped using my M401/EVO when my manual battery broke and I had bought my 510, which seems to give me more flavor and alot of vapor.

Good luck to you.

I had a dse 901 for a few months and ordered a kr808 after reading some positive reviews. I must say that I still love my dse 901 much more than my kr808. The cartomizers are great for when I'm driving, but the vapor production is just not high enough for me.

I have since returned to using my dse901 due to the huge clouds of vapor it produces and the ease of refilling, and use my kr808 for long car rides only.

Also: VG liquids seem to produce far more vapor for me and PG liquids tend to give me an upset stomach. I agree that EcoPure liquids do not have enough flavor. I just recently got some of the BASIC line liquids from cignot and they are fantastic! I got Forbidden Fruit, Jimmy Puffit, and Starpuffs. They have all natural flavorings that are very delicious and tasty even when I dilute them to half strength using VG/water mixture.
