Howdy folks,
Great forum here and tons of info, it's been very helpful in trying to get an understanding of making the switch to the e-cigarette. Hopefully you guys and gals can help me out with the a couple of questions so that I can make the right choices when I pull the trigger on an e-cig.
I've been smoking for close to 20 years at this point, and for the last 10 years it's been menthol. Currently I smoke Newport Lights: about 1.25 pack/day of the short ones, or 1 pack/day of the 100s. I'd like to find a way to replicate the Newport Light experience as much as possible for now, then slowly cut back on nicotine, and eventually quit smoking/vaping entirely.
As far as a comparison between the Joye 510 and the short IntelliCig Evo... can someone give me pros and cons of one vs the other...
From what I understand, the manual battery of the 510 is desirable as there is no cutoff and it increases the life span of the atomizer -- my concern with this, however, is that I'll most likely be carrying my e-cig loosely in my pants pocket throughout the workday, and wouldn't want to inadvertently have vapor pouring from my pants...
With regard to the IntelliCig Evo, I understand that the atomizer seems to have a much longer life span than many other e-cigarettes, months instead of weeks. Is there really such a big difference in atomizer life?
Some other questions, based on my current smoking habit:
- what nicotine strength would be a good start for me?
- what flavor juice might most approximate Newport Lights' flavor?
- how long might I expect a 3ml or 10ml bottle to last, if I fill my own cartridges?
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for your advice!
