My wife and i have been buying from Halo for years (5?) but I'm curious about this EVO line.

1. EVO has been around since 2009? Has Halo always owned EVO?

2. EVO seems to have other flavors not on the Halo website, what is that?

3. Halo was notorious for no giving out their PG/VG ratio, but they do now on their V line. What is it for the EVO line, and if they're not willing to say, can someone shed light on how they handle sub ohm devices?

4. Halo is "DIACETYL AND ACETYL PROPIONYL FREE". Since that is stated on the website, it sound like EVO is as well. Is that true?

Thanks.

Hey @Garnoch I can answer some of your questions.

1. Nicopure Labs is our corporate entity and it owns both Halo & eVo. Evo I want to say has been around for around a year-two years, but was just in vape shops until now.
2. The company determined that these would be the best flavors to sell online, but there's a chance that some of these other flavors will be be for sale online eventually
3. Ratio is also proprietary, but we are working on coming out with some high VG eVo (70VG-30PG) flavors in the future
4. Evo is also DIACETYL AND ACETYL PROPIONYL FREE. All test results have been posted under the product description at the bottom of each eVo product page

Some more info on eVo can also be found here: eVo - Nicopure Labs LLC.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. I love several of our Evo flavors and can recommend some if you would like :)

I was doing some quick research on eVo and came across a company called EVO Vapor (www.evovapor.com) who lists a line of juice (Signature EVO Juice) which comes in bottles with the same labeling as the eVo bottles on Halo's website. Per the EVO Vapor website, Evo is a registered trademark of 2D Enterprises and was copy written in 2010. The earliest date I can link Nicopure Labs with eVo is a Spinfuel article from 04 May 2013 (Nicopure eVo eLiquid Review - Spinfuel eMagazine) which details Nicopure as a wholesaler who sent out a gangload of samples.

That being said, the earliest listing I have for Halo’s existence is 21 October 2009 by @Johnny Blaze (Free Samples : Halo American Made E-Liquid).

Now, I surmise that what may have occurred is that Halo and EVO Vapor started out independently as e-liquid manufactours listed as business holdings under Trident (Halo) and 2D Enterprises (EVO Vapor). Trident created Nicopure Labs and then moved all business holding underneath that corporation entity (circa 2012). Probably the result of new investors with the intent to grow Trident into a multi-brand e-cig conglomerate (not unlike Nestle). Then, circa 2013, Nicopure Labs purchased EVO Vapor (or started selling their e-liquid under the EVO Vapor brand) and began trials to test out different flavors on a massive scale. This way, if a bunch of eVo flavors bombed, it wouldn’t “taint” Halo’s reputation.

Eventually, Nicopure Labs was satisfied with consumer reception of eVo e-liquid and has decided to link eVo with Halo in order to increase eVo sales. At first I wondered why they didn’t just rebrand it as a Halo specific product but eVo may have created a large enough following that rebranding it would have lost or confused customers (granted, I’m still confused by EVO Juices webpage; it doesn’t look like it’s been updated since 2013 and should probably just be closed down and redirected to Halo’s website).

So… @Rockin Randle, am I close, way off base, or no comment? :p
