I think the Evods are a good choice. Coils/Heads are cheap and easy to wrap if you ever chose to go there. Plus, the same heads are used in a lot of Kanger products.

Not sure on the device though. It depends how much you like to ride the dial on that Winder. In addition to VV, I use good old cheap egos a lot because I seldom vape over 3.5v.

I suspect you might find the basic Kanger evod batteries a bit disappointing after a VV ego.

I did... don't really use them, except in emergency...

Do you know the preferred watts (volts/ohms) of your current set-up?

Well I was vaping at 4.0-4.2 volts with my Blueberry RY4, it is 25PG/75VG. The new juices I got today are 50/50 and I am turning up the voltage to 4.4-4.8. Guess I'm missing the vapor from the 25/75 mix. I think I will get my next order 25/75.

But I only want them for flavor changes so not so concerned about battery life, but I guess hit and vapor may be an issue?

If you're still considering the EVOD 2, Vapedojo has a great price on the kits: Kanger Evod 2 Starter Kit

Personally I think their Mini protank 2 kit with VV Evod batteries would be a better deal. I wonder how a 3.7 regulated evod battery would do pushing dual coils. I bet the vape would not be as good and the batteries would not last as long.

You might want to wait for the Mini Aerotanks to come out and get a couple of those with a couple of VV batteries. Check out the Itaste VV V3 too. I have one and it is a great little 800 mah battery... Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

I've started with the evod kit.. I've found that it does do the trick, but I vape so much I'm filling first thing in the morning and then again when I get home after work. I run both tanks n batts with two diff flavors also. The other thing is recharging. During the week, charging em up bef I hit the sack n im good for the day. On a no work day, not happening. Have to recharge em at least once.
Great kit to start with, and then use them while exploring other upgrade options, which is what I'm doing now.
