EVOD Battery got wet

I went on a float trip over the weekend, and swamped the canoe. My EVOD 650 mAh battery was submerged for about two minutes. Later, it worked, then it didn't. I charged it the next day after it was dry, and it seemed to be OK.

What says the EOE (experts on Everything). Keep using it (and hope it doesn't blow up in my face), or trash it.

Put it in a bag of rice..... it extracts the water..... Say a week.... and try. Some would take a hair dryer too it before the rice but not too hot.
