i just purchased a kanger protank 2 from vaperite store woodstock ga.. i come home to try and use it on my evod battery and my battery just keeps on blinking. so i was thinking it was a low battery so i fully charged it. tried it again and still nothing. can anyone help me with this problem. would i need a beauty ring?

I'm using a mini protank 2 with an EVOD battery you shouldn't have a problem. Try the battery with your EVOD atomiser to confirm it's working. If that's okay you might have a defective protank 2.
Its probably a shorted head. Try taking the coil out and feel around the bottom of the head where there is a little rubber piece. This rubber piece hold in the wire from the coil and sometimes the wire is left a little to long leading to a short. If you feel something there you can clip it shorter with some nail clippers.
ok i a fixed the problem i added a beauty ring from my protank 1 and it is vaping fine now but now i have to order a beauty ring for my ego c twist and pt1.. thanks again guys
yeah i realized that i need the 510 to ego adapter. are the coil heads from the pt1 work with a pt2? gonna try and stock up on coil heads. just want to see if i had to order 2 different heads?
Yes Kanger is moving to a universal coil.
