evod bcc weeping

So my evod has been weeping it seems. There seems to be a little collection of juice that weeps out of the little window on it. The juices I've bought haven't said anything about damaging tanks so not sure what's happening. I have had the tank for about a month, though. (changed atty's of course)

Anyone else have this problem?

I have an eVod tank that is cloudy and has what looks like a crack in it, I was using a cinnamon eLiquid. Are your eLiquids heavy on citrus or cinnamon? These are the two culprits I know of....mine isn't leaking yet, is yours cloudy?

I have an evod that seems to get (looks like) condensation on the outside of the bottom of the unit on the outside. nothing leaking inside (yet). I have been using the 1.8 ohm atty's, I'm on my second atty in the evod, using for about two and half weeks.

Not cloudy at all, but you know I def could have dropped it. Lord knows I drop pretty much everything. Good thing I have a back up evod. But this one is purple and so pretty. rats!

Like others have said, some condensation is possible, but I usually see it in the mouthpiece only. If the window is wet, and sticky, then you probably have a crack somewhere.

You could always wash it up good and try a little super glue? Just a tiny dab at the bottom of the window maybe? couldn't hurt....

I wouldn't super glue it. You don't want to vape that.

VapRLady I would personally stop using the tank if it's showing signs cracking or clouding. Those liquids do "eat" away at plastics. And when they do the broken down plastic is now going into your liquid and then your vape.

Just informing out of concern. I personally don't vape "tank-crackers" but, a fair amount of people do with no ill effects reported thus far. Not in plastic tanks though. If you're going to continue to vape those liquids I really suggest looking into a pyrex (glass) tank. Something like the Kanger ProTank is a good start...

My Evod is just always leaking onto my battery. Both of them. Works great, best tasting device that I have, but man if that's not annoying.

Are you making sure that that little coil unit is screwed tightly into the base? It tends to become loose, even with regular refilling. Always check that connection. And do not screw your eVod too tightly into your battery--if you do, you'll push the center post in and that will cause leaking. And make sure that all the seals are in place.

I think it's just the coil heads. I rotate between three of them at 1.8 ohms and haven't had any leaking at all. A tiny of juice buildup on the center post of the battery is normal.

Yeah thanks Katya but I've done all of that. I guess it is just a lil juice pooling. Don't seam to have this problem on any of my other clearo's though. Just carto's and Evods.

This is odd... You have leaking cartos?

Well, there are only two reasons why cartos leak: they are either overfilled or there is juice in the center tube. Come to think of it, it's also true for eVods. Are you sure you're not overfilling? And are you sure that no juice is left in that center tube after filling?

Just a thought.

I don't own an evod (too small) but isn't it just like the Kanger and Protank, so you can remove the center post above the coil and add or remove wicking to fine tune it?

I have found that different juices act differently in these devices, so I add or remove a bit of wicking and that's working great for me....

Yep. They are all the same design--just different size, shell, and, in the case of ProTank, different threading and glass.
