Anyone ever run into this? The replacement EVOD coils I just got ( Kanger on package) the air tube stem that goes into the air hole on the mouthpiece is about 20 thousands larger than the original coil air tube stem? No biggie, I carefully ground it down and it now fits fine, but I thought they were universally sized? a possibility is that the original evod I bought may not be a genuine Kanger?
All the other parts seem the same except the new Kanger coils have a taste wick on top of the coil wick and the old ones just have one wick through the coil. Now I remember why I bought that Dremmel years ago!
thanks

That's strange. I have an evod I am pretty sure is a fake, but I am using genuine Kanger coils with it and they fit just fine. I had a coil in there that I bought locally and the vapor production was lacking a LOT. Once I bought the kanger replacement coils the vapor production is back and working very well. I find the stem is a little longer on the Kangers but that's about it.

Yeah slight differences between the two. If I were you I would invest in some kanthal and wick. I used to think it would be a hassle to make my own coils, but it only took me three attempts to get right and since then I've saved untold amounts of money. I've been using 2 evods for over a year now simply rebuilding the coils. The only thing that unfortunately degrades noticeably is the rubber 'grommit' (?) that's used to separate the positive and negative wires.
