By leaking what exactly do you mean? Is it wicking too much juice inside to the coil causing gurgling and sucking up juice into air chamber and drip tip? I'd say maybe use just a little bit more cotton next time or add a small flavor wick. EVOD coils can be a bit finicky and it may take time to set exactly how much wick material you need to use based on your liquid PG/VG content and your vape preferences. I use 2MM silica wicks on my coils and a single 1mm flavor wick that I slightly unbraid for my daily vape juice thats PG. I know that with cotton less is more, but sometimes you have to define how much is too little and I think you may have actually found out how much is too little.

I just rebuilt four kanger heads with 32 gauge (7 wraps around a 1.4mm screwdriver = 2.3 Ohms). I take a wisp of cotton and roll it really tight between my fingers, thread it through until it starts to pull the coil. You want it snug but not so tight it prevents the juice from wicking inside the coil. Cut the cotton and fluff both sides. I have not had a single issue with leaks, gurgles or flooding. I am loving it!

Some other things to check for... Coil tightened onto the base and o-rings damaged, missing or not seated well.

A flavor wick can work too but I'd try rewicking.
