So I have been using regula Kanger Evods mostly and can go for a long time on an atty without much issue with bad taste. It does eventually get to where it produces less vapor, but the taste is usually OK. I primarily use 80/20 or 50/50 mixtures. So I recently decided it was time to do some minor upgrades and part of that was to get an EVOD glass (mainly because I also got a protank 3 and they use the same attys). At first, I was blown away at the difference between the single coil plastic tank evods. I was loving it; however, now when vaping my 80/20 mix all I get is burnt taste, every time and it has only been a week of use. And I use this particular EVOD after I eat and in the AM, so it is not heavy use as I use others in the day.

Any tips? I would be a bit disappointed if this was due to the atty in need of replacing already.

Try taking a sharp draw (or two) on your drip tip (without engaging your battery). This will pull more eliquid into the coil so that it will be available when you press the battery button and take a draw. You could also consider adding a drop or two of distilled water to your high VG eliquid to thin it out some.
