Just curious if anyone that has the protank and an EVOD has tried it. I know the EVOD heads and orotank heads are the same except the EVOD heads are a little shorter but I was not sure if that would make a difference.

Yup it will work. Some say the draw tightens up a bit using an Evod head. I didn't really notice a difference other than the Evod head was noisier.
The problem I've had is they are reading low load on my PV. I haven't tried removing the air post on the head and switching them. I assume this will fix the problem though I don't know why.
I tried this and it leaked like crazy from the 510 connection at the bottom... any suggestions? All I did was change the post and tighten it down all the way. Maybe try another Evod head?
all that i use with the protank is evod coils.
i do not switch out the post and i do not mod the gasket.
no leaks or gurgling on my end.
i use vg based juice with 10% flavor so my juice is thick. if your juice is thin, you might get leaking or gurgling. dunno. i do not have anything but vg based juice.
i do know the evod coil wicks ALOT better for me in the protank than the protank coil does. this is why i think a higher pg based ejuice might leak.

Juice is 50/50... going to try another head.... It didn't start until left it sitting for about 2-3 hours before that it was perfect (right when changed the head).
I've been using a 50/50 juice with an EVOD head, no modifications. Not getting any leaking at all.
Well 3 brand new evod heads and they all flooded and leaked… last one using 100% VG Johnson Creek. Going to try a different protank. Evod head doesn’t seem to seat the same way as the protank head.

What I have found out is that not all protanks are the same... I can use a Evod head for about a 1/2 tank then it starts leaking like carzy. I can honestly blow a half a tank juice straight out the bottom. (not removing any wicks)
Assuming everything is airtight, have you tried adding a bit of wick?

I don't think everything is airtight with evod head. I don't think in one of the protanks I tested with three different evod heads, the head seems to seat all the way but I think it is leaking where the head connects to the base.
They're 2.5 Ohm. There's a bunch of different resistances listed on the side of the box that the Protank heads came in. Mine had a check mark beside 2.5. However, the resistance isn't marked anywhere on the head itself. If Kanger plans on offering different resistance heads, they should mark it somewhere on the head, not just on the box they come in.
