I got my girl the standard evod kit for her to start with. Yesterday the battery stopped creating vapor. The carto works with my evod VV battery so I know it's not that.

Her battery turns on and off and lights up when held down. I've cleaned both connections and tried to pull the pin up but not sure how far I can do it. Doesn't work on the charger either.

Does she need a new battery or should I pull the pin up further. She's only had it for about a month.

Bold = by all means
Italic = really doesn't mean anything. Was it ever dropped?

I recently had someone short her battery, take the dead short cartomizer and shorted out the 2nd (autopsy results).

The odd battery = kaput yes, multiple = we have a problem Houston.

Point to ponder, never diagnose anything without taking readings on a multimeter. BTW a DMM is/was the p[rice of a Zippo ;)

I tried pulling the pin up further but still no dice... the light goes on when I push the button but it doesn't fire up the coil.

How exactly did she short the battery? I'm not quite following "take the dead short cartomizer and shorted out the 2nd" Does that mean she just used a bad cart on a battery and it shorted?

I don't know if it has been dropped.

I don't have the extra thingamajig that it takes to read a mod battery with a multimeter.
