I have about 15 EVOD's that ive been using for the past few months as well as a Pro tank that ive used for a few weeks. All of them seem to have the same problem. They flood, gurgle, and leak from the bottom. I've replaced the coil heads atleast twice on all of them, and I only run 70/30 and 60/40 PG/VG Mixes through them. I've turned them upside down, let the juice in the center tube come out completely, unscrew the base then re screw it back on. This alleviates the problem for a few puffs, but then it just comes back. I've heard people say that this issue occurs when the tank gets down to about 1/3rd full but i have these issues even with an almost full tank. I never remove any of the extra wicks (I have before, which caused them to flood and leak even more). Anyone have any idea what the issue is? I always make sure that the center post of the head is pushed in all the way and that the silicone cap sits right above the wicks, and i always make sure that i tighten the head into the base before i reattach it after a fill.

I haven't done this with my protank yet, I just got it a couple days ago, but all of my T3s are rewicked with cotton. There's a good tutorial thread here, google Kanger T3 cotton and it should come up. The guy who started it doesn't do a top wick but I always do one in the coil and one on top and they don't leak/gurgle until the wick is ready to be changed, after about a week(usually 3 full tanks).

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/377470-installing-cotton-you-kanger-t3s.html that's the thread, I do one wick in the coil about half as thick as his(cotton swells a lot and you don't want to choke it) and then another on top to fill the space when you put the air post back in.

P.s. if you use cotton, never dry burn, and ALWAYS let the tank sit with juice in it for at least 30 minutes before using it at first, have to give the cotton time to soak. Once it's soaked it should keep up, even with chain vaping.

With my Protank, I have found that fluffing the tiny wick, just as you should for a T2 or any other wick probably, helps appreciably in vapor production, flavor, etc. Take a pin or toothpick and blow some time trying to create as much surface area as possible. Then, I take the silicone cup which is similar to the T3 silicone cup, and I take a sharp pair of ordinary scissors and take off a little semicircle and then do that again 180 degrees away. Then I plop the cup back in its place and with the cup cutouts giving more space around the wicks, it seems to wick better (faster). I tried it with the cup removed entirely and that worked fine for one head but not for two others since.

I typically use about 70PG/30VG.
