i have recently switched over to a RGM2, and it uses protank/evod heads.

my issue is, the stock coils are super oily so i have ben "trying" to rewick them with cotton.

im new to cotton, and im new to these bottom coils.

when rewicking i understand "less is more", but its too the point im getting super hot cotton hits WHILE the atomizer completely floods and leaks at the same time.

yes i JUST seen it a few mins after i started this thread. im going to retry wicking these again, i think my issue is with not fluffing the cotton enough.

i just find it strange that i used "too much" in the coil to choke it, yet the wick slots have "too less" and cause it to straight leak.

do you have any protips on how fluff?

Cotton needs to be just light enough to move back and forth in the coil without too much resistance. Reinstall chimney temporarily so you can screw the head into base. Trim wick just outside base diameter and use tweezers to push it into the base. You can puff it towards any open slot you have if needed and then tuck it or just place around the inside of the base if you already have enough in the slot. It just takes a little practice and you will be a pro. I do them 5 or 10 at time and once you get in the groove it goes quickly.

No idea on the oily coils or the RGM2 (Fasstech?) though. I buy genuine Kanger Mini 2s and there are over 20 of them on my counter using this method.
