Hello all. New member and Vaper.
Started vaping a few years ago on a cigalike and did not have much knowledge on the vaping subject. due to bad taste, burnt coils and such, I gave up and went back to analogs :(

Fast forward to a month ago and I started learning more about vaping and decided I would give it another go to give up the analogs.
Started back with my cigalike but ran into the same problems as before, but I went in knowing I wanted more than what a cigalike offered.

I ordered an evod and I have to say that the experience has been a vast improvement over cigalikes.
I plan to upgrade to a mod one day, but for now I am pretty happy with the evod.

I have not completely given up the analogs yet, but I am well on my way. Went from 2 packs a day to less than 3 analogs a day.
I am phasing myself out slowly and I see this as being a great success for me personally.

Thanks to all who take the top to help inform us that are just starting out and need the knowledge to give up the nasty smoking habit.

Hat's off to you my friend. At this rate you'll put Reynold's and their ilk one step closer to the poor house in no time.

Nothing wrong with Evods either. I had a couple and used them religiously for months all day long until I passed them along to another newbie. You can even rebuild the coils on those things with some kanthal and cheap cotton making them damn near free to maintain (if you're so inclined).

Nobody here will ever make fun of your gear. Whatever works for you. :)

Your doing great! You can do it. I was a 2 Pack A Day smoker and I was able to quit by using 24 mg nicotine e juice. It kept my cravings away and it was pretty painless! I'm glad your happy with your set up! That's great! In the future you might consider trying a variable voltage and wattage battery. It gives you the ability to increase or decrease your watts according to your flavors and it really helps bring out the flavors! Two really great variable volt and watt mods are the mvp2, and the dna30. Both are great choices for your future mod. Keep up the good work and welcome!

Welcome and congratulations blazingbolt. From 40 cigs a day to 3 a day in one month is fantastic.
I smoked and vaped for 11 weeks, and have been vaping only for the last 6 weeks. I admire these
people that quit smoking and started vaping the same day, but it doesn't work that way
for everyone.
Good luck and vape on!

I started a couple of days ago and got an EVOD with variable voltage. It's a great piece however I managed to break the battery 8 hours into it. I think it was partially my fault/crappy clone. I have a Vapin Plus I got from a convenience store which didn't give much vapor but the battery works on the EVOD tank. Waiting for payday to get aother VV battery. Also saving up for a mod, either a MVP or E-LVT, I have a feeling I'm going to end up being a collector.

I still use an Evod at times, they're what made me really start enjoying vaping. Just gave 2 of them to a friend that got ripped off at a B&M with disposable tanks. A vamo will be a good start with a mod, I use a vamo 2 daily, among others. An aero tank mega looks great on top, same diameter. Congrats to ya.

to ecf blazingbolt . Congrats to you and I know you can do it. I did the same thing. Both for a good while but it just got to the point where I preferred vaping. The equipment you have does play a very big part in your success. I loved the evods and ProTanks for a long time. Then sort of ended up using drippers. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading about your journey. We all have them here and I think that is what makes ecf so special. Happy vaping to you. :)

My husband and I both quit with evod starter kits and liked them so well, immediately got backup sets. I also use a MVP 2.0 and VV3 but hubby is satisfied with the setup he has with no desire to try anything else. He only uses about one fill up a day, me 2 or 3. I don't think about quitting vaping, one step at a time for me but he does and even says not to give him the juice that taste too good
