Evod vs Protank heads

Have seen posts saying the evod heads and protank heads are the same. The evod heads are obviously shorter. Is the post length and ID the only difference?

They used to be different (evod heads being shorter), but Kanger has gone to a universal size for the Evod and Protanks. They're one and the same now.
