They are not kanger. The one I got came with a broken coil, a kanger head fit and works fine in it. It also had a lot of white power in it but after washing it it works fine. The build quality is slightly lower than my kangers but not bad at all. Using it daily I can't really tell a difference in vape quality with kanger heads in it. Some people have been reporting the taste of machine oil in there FT evods but mine was fine.

I wonder if Tony Montana has anything to do with this.

The ceo of fasttech probably has a "the world is yours" banner in his office.

I believe you are mistaken and these are direct from Kanger. Fasttech also carries the original Kanger ProTank as well as the Kamry X9BCC copy.
Normally copies have distinct differences easily spotted. Like Vivi Tanks with different length pipes and head shapes. Base on the X9BCC, etc.

It is defiantly not a kanger product. Mine came with this head installed, $1.25 EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Atomizer Heating Core at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping, defiantly not a kanger head. There are also differences in the coil base, the FT version only had 2 air holes while my kangers have 3. My kanger bases also have 2 groments while the FT version only has one. The metal sleeve on the FT version is slightly longer leaving the drip tip piece slightly shorter on the FT version. The FT version works just as well as the Kanger version using kanger heads in both. Its a good clone IMHO but would still get the kanger version as the price difference is not that big once you factor in changing out the horrible head that comes in the FT version.

Same experience - but I just really wanted the tank portion which seems identical. No problem with the atomizers either.

Picked up a few myself, no problems with either of them! They arrivee with one of each type of head pre-installed, both seem to fine to me.

Of course, I fully washed out all the parts before even using them, and have since rebuilt one head with cotton and it's working great. The other is still waiting to be tested and used (by someone else) before I rebuild it with cotton, but if it tastes anything like the first that wont be long! :D

Not sure what makes those stock heads taste bad, like burning something, but I even torched the wick after removing it and I couldn't smell that smell, maybe you can only taste it, or it was coming from the wire? Oh well, re-wick and it's a win!

Just posted about this in another thread...

Sparing the story from the other, I agree the stock heads are intolerable. 1 of 3 burnt rubber, another was too tight to wick ("flavor wick" indeed), and one works well enough.

Rebuilt with 1.5mm silica doubled over, 4.5 wraps of 32g kanthal, and NO flavor wick, it's absolutely fantastic and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. I would 100% recommend it to someone comfortable rebuilding.

With genuine heads they also work great. I'd totally recommend buying a Fasttech to use with stock heads, perhaps to get a particular color.

As-is... nope.

EDIT: Put the tank in rubbing alcohol and rinse and that plastic taste WILL go away.
