Cheap to replace is about all I can say. Attempted a rebuild once and while it can be done- my neurosurgery days are over.
I have a couple of 2+ohm EVOD coils that I'm never going to use... One brand new and the other only fired 2 or 3 times.... If you want them for test rebuilds PM me and I'll drop them in the mail for you!

I rebuilt an evod head for my protank and it is really easy. It was my first attempt ever of a rebuild and no problem and it took me about 5 minutes to do. The hardest part is getting the little rubber grommet back in the bottom of the head. It took a few tries but wasn't too bad.

This is pure win. I plan on getting the protank as well. I take it uses the same system?

Minimal saint pm on the way you rock bro!

I'd like to order in next few minutes so it ships today. Easy to rebuild?

Love them. Only wish they held more juice, but i have a ProTank on the way which holds more anyway and can take any juice you throw in it. I also plan on rebuilding the heads on both. WINNING!

Sweet! Just ordered a black evod. Are the heads interchangeable with the protank?

I swear I visit this forum and I always spend more money lol.

The evod heads work in the protank. The only difference is the air post that goes over the coil, the protanks is longer and bigger. You can swap them if you want but it is not necessary, they are good to go completely unmodified. I don't know if protank heads work in the evod though because I don't have an evod but I suspect they will.

Sweet!

Too funny people were complaining that all the protank replacement heads were out of stock. I wonder if they knew they could just get evods.

I have 5 of them. Yes they are interchangeable. I spend a little each payday. Just waiting on some Kanthal and for me to settle on which VV device i want. After that just some juice every couple of weeks. Eventually dabble in carto's but at the moment i am a huge clearo fan.

Pipe change and possible grommet trimming for proper fit, but PBusardo covers this in his review of the Protank.

Eric - Use a straight pin to help while wrapping your coils. it will also keep you from wrapping to tight. just slip it out once your happy with the coil wrap.

Thanks for the advice! I've gotten pretty good at rebuilding nova heads and rda's like the phoenix. So hopefully it will not be too difficult.

Same here. I really don't like carto tanks anymore I got tired of them. Most vets love them but I got tired of the punching holes and what not.

my protank leaks after 1/2 a tank w/ evod heads in there...just ordered some protank heads from aqv - gettin another tank today. best flavor imo. evod has a weird silicone taste - good w/ some juices not so much w/ others. protank flavor and th > evod. evod hits better. IMO

Thanks bro, I'll take it in account. Oh hey your diy method had been freakin win. Drop a few drops in your base, Bada bing Bada boom your set.
