EVOD with writing on it????

I received my 4th EVOD today in the mail today from sweet vapes. It has "EVOD BCC" written on the bottom edge, right above the base. Other than that it looks identical to the others that I have. I know that at least my first 2 aren't knock offs because they came with an EVOD kit I got in the legit Kanger packaging. I've never even seen pictures online of them with this on them. Are these new? Or am I missing something

One of mine has evod bcc on it too, I can't remember where I ordered from, but it wasn't sweetvapes. They are legit, some have the "writing," some don't.

I have ones I believe to be legit both with and without writing - easiest ways to tell a knockoff (I have several of both):
- top metal edge is beveled (cut at an angle) above the rubberized coating on the Kangers, there's a sharp edge on the cheapos
- carb holes drilled at the base are uniformly spaced on a Kanger, sometimes off-center or with uneven spacing on a fake

I think, based on some reviews I've seen, the ones with writing may be the early ones... a way for Kanger to get the name out. Now, evods are so well known, most know exactly what it is without the need for branding.

I hate it when they do branding. Like that smoktech pyrex tank that came out. Looks good but on one side they have smok in big letters on one side. Makes it look tacky to me!
